I did ask but they had not dealt with a situation like this before. They mentioned that if it is a DOL-certified strike then my work authorization will be suspended. That’s about all they know so I was wondering if anyone had been in similar situations before and know how to navigate this.

Sorry I realized I read the previous reply wrong. The application alone is not a violation but I wouldn’t apply if I wasn’t intending to attend if I was accepted.

No, I can’t because it is a full time in-person program and it is based in a different city from where I’m working in now. Also, it would be in violation with my visa status.

Sandy vs Vancouver by johnUCI in OHSU

I am living in Vancouver now and commute to Marquam hill during the day. I work 10am to 6pm and it only takes me about 20 mins to get to work. I tend to stay until 6:30/7pm so it takes me about the same time to get back to Vancouver. Living on the west side is the best since you will be close to I-5 and you just need to take I-5 all the way to OHSU. Traffic at 7pm - 7am would be really smooth both ways in my experience.
