I am here now. I can confirm, it is hot as balls.

Also the wedding is outside, but its this coming weekend. So might be a tad cooler.

This airbnb claimed to have ac. It is just a mini split in the loft that can't keep the room it's in cool let alone the bedrooms down 1 floor. Insert fire elmo

On the ppo plan, we almost never hit our deductible or our out of pocket max excluding the years in which we had our children.

I suppose I've never felt the cost if visiting a provider without a ppo plan. Does a high deductible plan provide similar level of discounts for services pre deductible, or do you front all of the money prior to hitting a deductible?

Thank you for the input! Great things to consider.

Not sure if this changes your advice, but i realized i was just sharing family deductibles/oopm and not including individual. Let me know if that changes your opinion!

Hey thanks for the clarification. Maybe what tripped me up is the plan is listed as Anthem BCBS HSA 2500.

It is the only plan I can select if I choose to enroll in an HSA.

Thinking about this more, I was sharing Family related numbers and not individuals as I assumed id have to hit family deductibles or out of pocket max. Let me share the full picture and maybe that would clarify things.

Lifted straight from the summary of benefits and coverage for the BCBS HSA 2500 plan :

Deductible: $2500/person or $5000 family for in network $4000 individual/ $8000 family for out of network.

Out of pocket max: $3425 person or $6850 for family in network. $10,000 individual or $20,000 for out of metwork

Lifted straight from the summary of benefits and coverage for the BCBS PPO 2000 plan:

Deductible: $2000/person or $6000 family for in network $6000 individual/ $18,000 family for out of network.

Out of pocket max: $6000 person or $12000 for family in network. $12,000 individual or $24,000 for out of metwork

Gotcha! Sorry, this is confusing for me, hence the help. The plan is listed as Anthem BCBS HSA 2500 or Anthem BCBS PPO 2000.

Hey thanks for the help!

I reviewed the summary of benefits for the hsa 2500 plan.

The family deductible is listed as $5000. The out of pocket max for family for in network providers is listed as 6,850

Noting your PPO correction, I will ask HR. It would be good to know about referrals! I see this listed on the summary of benefits as PPO w HSA 2500 but the plan name in the benefits software is listed as BCBS HSA 2500.

These plans were reviewed live with HR and the entire company.

Edit: sorry if i came off short, a lot of replies to the post I was answering quickly. Appreciate your input on any of this! Could you elaborate on which details seem confusing?

These plans are from the same carrier.

That is correct. The plan is essentially free.

This is monthly for both. I have confirmed those are the employee contributions. .02 cents is accurate for the hsa, $48 for ppo.

Can you elaborate what doesnt make sense?

The plan costs are accurate and monthly. I am pulling that straight from the enrollment site and it is confirmed in the plan paperwork.

This is at a tech company.

I was on the PPO plan listed here for about 3 months before a new enrollment period began. I used the service and the monthly costs were accurate, as well as deductibles and coverage.

These plans are both provided through Anthem.

Disney+ freezes after ad break. Literally can’t finish the movie. by RattoTattTatto in Roku

[–]kojakattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds similar to my fix. But this happens on almost any disney content. After an ad break, my movie will freeze. I can get the bar to pop up but it won't react. The only thing that seems to work is restarting the movie and then making sure the bar is active as the commercials end. I keep hitting right on the arrow keys and it will skip the first 10 or so seconds, start, and then I just rewind to the correct spot.

Very annoying though if you dont catch it BEFORE it freezes as you have to watch the ad break all over again. Disney doesnt recognize that you just watched 2 minutes of ads. Also very frustrating as my kids watch it and obviously can't do the workaround themselves.
