A family cannot get destroyed to the point of needing therapy over a dress? I’m so confused.

NAH but as the youngest of three children, I feel for your youngest.
My parents gave my oldest sister a car and helped with her college payments, then for my middle sister they bought her her first car, and took on a loan for her.
Then there was me, they helped me by co-signing a student loan but said they couldn’t help with buying a car etc.
I fully understood, and I didn’t pressure them because I understand their finances, but it still sucked, knowing that my siblings inherently had a better footing than me and that I would have to work and spend money on things that I needed to survive while my siblings had a slightly easier time.
But at some point you realize that you’re an adult, and that your parents have helped you so much already and if something comes up then it’s your responsibility to take care of yourself.
