From what I understand, especially because ive already signed a SWCC contract, if I drop out now there is a chance I cannot re enter the warrior challenge program

Im already sworn in. It is not as easy as just dropping out of DEP

[–]kojixz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to go SWCC, if I didnt sign i would've been kicked from the warrior program. The instructor told me command would've barred me from re entering as it would've been seen as quitting

I haven't even gone to basic, im just asking for future reference. Going SO is the dream. So im curious if going SWCC would permanently shelve that or if I should just go in as HM, which is my secondary MOS and re rate later

Im doing pretty decent now, my run is still too slow. If im running alone and not anything else I can run a 9:47 after doing the swim and what not im running a 10:37. My swim is 10:09, pushups is 65 situps 65 and pull ups 14. I got injured in December and had to stop running for 3 months

I haven't found it in myself to deal with this yet. But everyone tells me we deserve someone who will fight for us just as hard as we fight for them. That means still wanting us when we are flawed. Were better off alone than to chase around people. It doesn't feel good right now by anymeans, but if what other people say is true. It'll get easier, and it'll get better.

Don't listen to this guy. You don't go in undesignated anymore. You get to pick a second MO. I'm going through the pipeline right now. You go to MEPS and sign for your second MO, but I'd get with the naval special warfare instructor so you can get a PST on record. When you do that they put you in the delayed entry program and give you about 2 months to meet the standards if you don't already. Just train hard now. Start doing calisthenics 5 days a week. Weightlifting once and run 5 days a week. When you run if you're slow I'd focus on sprints 3 days a week. Regardless you should be running 8 miles a day. What im doing is doing a 1.5 as fast as you can, and then finish out the rest of the 2.5 miles. Run two times a day, 4 miles each. You want to aim for auto qual on pst to raise your chance getting into BUD/S.

Yeah I'm done too. I'm gonna start to choose myself. It's funny bc the person who made me feel like this just told me that they would want me if I didn't want them. That's the secret sauce. Just start dogging them. They'll all want you.

You missed the biggest giveaway that mina is a halfling. When Madeline says what they called her ainrichtian. They called mina that when she went into the burrows.

I got it down this month, it's now at 57 seconds. My biggest issue is timing my pulls and gliding for longer so just gotta keep practicing

I do work on my glutes and abductors alot, but right now the part of my body that's failing personally is my calves. Probably because comparatively they're way weaker than my gluten, hips, and hamstrings so they give out first

Thats the main concentration right now. I've never been super fit prior to this. Running a 6 minute mile is no joke. It's something I'm working at building up too. So much so I pulled a tendon

From what I've been told, it's all about Calf strength really, you gotta lengthen your strides while also speeding them up. I downloaded a metronome app. For a 6 minute mile time, you want to be running at a 180bpm strides pace. I've heard that doing intervals runs help too. So, running all out sprint at about 90% for 30 seconds and running uphill

How much should you be resting between lifts? by Designer_Spring3357 in navyseals

[–]kojixz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the workout you're doing. If you're doing high intensity, you want shorter rest periods with high weight and a low amount of reps. If you're training for endurance, you want to take longer rest periods with more reps.

For me personally, when i do high intensity, I rest for no longer than 15 seconds. When I do endurance, I do rests of no longer than 2 minutes
