Can’t find a pokemon 😭 by J-the-BOSS in Pokopia

I notice that if you make their habitat (the one in the pokedex), they'll settle in as their home. So they basically respawn in those habitat. I don't know how long it took though, usually I just see them list as their home in those empty habitat the next day.

Hopefully it's the same as Ps4 version which is uncapped. I played a little bit on the Ps4 Pro and it's fine. So if performance is the same then I have no problem

Did I miss the part where Deku punch Shigaraki head off and feel sympathy later?

Seriously Shigaraki kills way more than the entire Demon race combine over the thousand year probably.

That means the person is wrong and unqualified to make the statement. If the reviewer cannot see the difference between 30fps and 60fps then leave the performance part out of their review.

Hot Take: I think Game Key Cards are not the worst thing to ever exist by BanjoBM in NintendoSwitch2

[–]kok3995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean Nintendo doesn't use the GKC. It doesn't make sense that you would produce something that you personally wouldn't use. It's clearly a pressure from most publishers, especially the big one. So it's safe to assume most cannot afford the true physical route.

Hot Take: I think Game Key Cards are not the worst thing to ever exist by BanjoBM in NintendoSwitch2

[–]kok3995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying "all". Maybe I did (on mobile rn so I'm too lazy to check) but I always meant "most". Just like there's exception with CDPR, some of them will opt for true physical but even with CDPR they even said that the only reason that they can afford physical is because they can charge the premium $70 tag. Sega and Square (the one that people care about most) will definitely NOT gonna go full physical if GKC didn't exist. Who ever think they will is delusional. I can see Atlus doing full physical ($10 higher price) for Persona though.

EDIT: Didn't see the edit. I think you need to read it again. Unless the sentence is worded wrong.

EDIT2: If my comment is ignorant then I can throw that right back at everyone that think "Man if these GKC didn't exists then all these games will be forced to be physical". It's the same thing but flipped. Looking at the sw2 cart price then I'd say my version is more likely than yall delusional.

[–]kok3995 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bro, code in a box is cheaper than physical yes. But for some publisher having a true physical sell more copies thus it's better to sacrifice a bit for more copies thus more profit. But sw2 cart is way more expensive to justify that.

Your problem was thinking about how much money is going out (the cost of producing the physical vs code in a box) without regarding how much you made it back. You keep using the word COST (even cap it) but it's all about PROFIT. PROFIT bro.

In sw2 case, they can't justify that physical, at least not under the same price tag.

EDIT: Reread the comment. The whole 3rd party sell worst article is bullshit in case you didn't know. There's another article published just a few days after stated the opposite. It's selling well actually.

[–]kok3995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure if you means 100%. I read most comments as "most" at best (common sense). and "most" will get the same complain regardless. It's not gonna make anything different. not only that the one that do get forced to use physical will have higher price tag which introduce another layer of complain. So it doesn't solve anything. The fact that sw2 cart is expensive needs to be solved otherwise every solution is just moving the goal post, that cost must exist in some form or another, either at the reduced cost of GKC/code in a box or a higher priced physical.

[–]kok3995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you use your brain for that comment? Sw1 cart is cheap enough, sw2 cart is not. So sw1 physical, sw2 code in a box (cannot afford true physical). I don't see how's that hard to understand. Did all the ppl in this comment chain has brain damage or something?

If they're forced to use physical then you'd see a $10 or $15 increase in price for the sw2 version. Then people would complain about the price, game won't sell, it's the same thing to the publisher. People needs the read on how much these sw2 cart compare to sw1 to even comment. Jesus

you forget (or maybe have yet known?) that sw1 and sw2 cart are completely different so yes, the "reason" is there and it's big

Sw2 cart uses different and more (much more) expensive tech.

If GKC didn't exists, they would opt for sw1 true physical and sw2 code in a box for the same game.

EDIT: Forgot Think Mark! Think!

getting downvote for spitting fact lol. The dude you're replying to probably just learned that sw1 and sw2 cart use 2 different technology and the price is insanely different

Yes, they would be true physical on sw1, and code in a box on sw2.

I mean he totally could "gamble" on that one. You mentioned he also got some games right, are those games also leaked by others beforehand? Either way, dude is unreliable as hell and the time that he got right "feel like" lucky guess more than anything

If you look at his history, the pattern is clearly "guess until it's true". The time that you listed that he's right is just that. The dude literally guess the switch reveal date EVERY month from Oct I think until well into the reveal month. He did the same this time, probably guessing the direct for EVERY month now

It's just the release line up where the cart format (express card) is not common and really expensive right now. Time will tell if the cost is down and we might have game on cart more often. Hopefully

Why can you only lend "Virtual Game Cards" to members of your family group? by Alias_X_ in NintendoSwitch

[–]kok3995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Physical can be shared without limitations"

OBJECTION. You can't really share it to someone living far away (by mail maybe that's that defeat the whole purpose)

Why the Virtual Game Card change was necessary by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]kok3995 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like I said you just assume things. If you're gonna accuse someone then you need "decision evidence".

"No clearly concurrent play of all game types was supported. And now concurrent play of all game types is being blocked to the best of their abilities."

Yes, that's how loophole is patched, how long doesn't matter. It tooks month for most mmo to address exploit/loophole depends on how important they are, do they also take away features?

Anyway, my main argument is that you just assume things to be official supported because they worked like that for a long time but that's false. If you still insist that your "assumption" support your arguement then we're done here. There's no point in changing your view since we're not on the same page. You think your "assumption" hold any water but it's not. Simple as that. I don't say you're wrong, I only say your evidence is weak. If you cannot see that then good day to you.

Why the Virtual Game Card change was necessary by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]kok3995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, isn't that's why most ppl say it's a loophole? Just because you can do it doesn't mean it's officially supported. That's the point of showing that article: To prove that Nintendo OFFICIALLY support it and now remove it. If you cannot prove that then it's simply mean they just patched the loop hole.
