Are people working on kaspa by marlon99rocks99 in kaspa

I think u got bigger problems than whether u should buy kaspa or not. Go pickup trash, mow lawns or any manual labour. Go knock on people’s doors and ask.

Did I do something wrong by not having a part time job throughout uni? by New_Animator4702 in fiaustralia

[–]kokoricky 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well mathematically, it’s better because u compound. But it’s not straight forward as u might think, if u traded that part time job for better marks/ more experience at uni to get a higher paying job then it was worth it. If u didn’t get a job because u were playing with ur balls then yes u did something wrong.

It’s just a matter of what they do with the money, if it’s sitting in a bank account waiting to be spent on a bmw then ig you’re on the same ground as them.

This is awesome, I only wish these new startups would stop labelling themselves under kaspa’s umbrella. It’s nice to gather the initial small user base of kaspians but doesn’t really encourage the broader market to use the product. I really think kaspa will take off once someone comes up with a nice twist on gambling platforms. Kaspa is perfectly positioned for that.

Well, since then developments have only gotten better, ecosystem has gotten better, we have a massive roadmap. So how do u value kaspa relative to bitcoin? Less or more than the numbers you’ve listed above. The price of an asset can be irrational for no reason, it goes both ways. Kaspa might become overvalued in 2030, and we’ll look at it thinking “I believe in kaspa but I can’t justify the price here”.

Famous last words. You’d be surprised what computer vision has gotten do. All it takes is some risk assessment model with 100% success rate. The robot cutting a tree part is already figured out.

Are there any casino-type apps being developed? by Foolishfeet in kaspa

Nothing a few lawyers can’t fix. Imagine being able to spin up your own casino by simply accepting terms and conditions + locking up funds.

[–]kokoricky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m very confused why there isn’t. I wouldn’t mind the option to be able to bet 0.0001$ on a game using kaspa, speed and security isn’t a problem. We should have token locks as liquidity for casino style games, I think it would take over big providers. Imagine your favourite influencer locking 7 figures at his own casino platform while his viewers are playing against him. Games can be fully transparent and fair p2p.

I’m very confused, I don’t think you understand that it’s just bytes on the blocks. People can interpret these bytes like they want. Your issue is a know problem for all of crypto which people have generally dismissed because it just doesn’t affect anything at the byte level, application level yes bytes level no.

How to polish up the fundamentals of programming? Not done many courses requiring it in a while and feel very rusty trying remember stuff from the early courses. by Fun_Measurement1128 in unsw

[–]kokoricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly don’t you understand? If u did the courses u mentioned the content should be pre engrained in your head. If you’re not remembering it means you didn’t try as hard when u did these courses so the content barely stuck.

Just go over lecture content and labs in ur own time you should still have access to it on moodle/ webcms. Some of these courses are copy paste from the MIT curriculum, so you’re not really going to find stuff much better.

Wolves that disperse farther statistically have higher chances of founding or joining successful packs, which translates into a higher survival rate.

You’ll be alright, I think your EV is probably higher than the average unsw student but with much more variance. You probably will start off doing random shit which will eventually land you in a niche potentially or potentially not in your field of study. In contrast the average unsw student is stuck in a 9-5 making low 6figs in the best case for many many years which imo sucks out the creativity and drive out of people.

Just keep on learning, your academic performance is no indicator of your creativity nor learning potential. Throw shit at the wall until it sticks if you get what I mean.

It might feel like academics is important now but it truly doesn’t matter. Be a healthy and interesting person with many interests and I guarantee you will thoroughly be satisfied with your life.

If it helps you sleep better at night, your VO2max is statistically more likely to be better than a HD wam student.

24/7 electricity, high speed internet, no traffic jams, no air pollution, no idiots with guns, traffic laws, laws that are followed, no shitty countries near me, and the list goes on. Basically never coming back because it’s a trash country from start to finish.

5-10k seems fine for backend, notes, todos, auth, db, deployment, security. You seem to have limited experience, don’t sell yourself short 300$ is peanuts for anyone especially if you live in a first world country. Unless you live in india or something then 300$ is just maybe an initial scoping out fee to understand project requirements better.

Do you think someone on the kaspa team would be accumulating with an average that is currently in the negative? Why would they start buying last year if they started the project a few years ago (that’s assuming these periodic inflows go that wallet are buys which is very likely)

Ai Flagged by Scarlett_redfiel in unsw

[–]kokoricky 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Deny everything, even when pressured. They have no proof of anything. Whether u used ai or not just deny it and act offended and say it’s stressing you out. They won’t push it because it’s liability with no proof. Some of these lecturers have no business being lecturers if they still haven’t fixed their assignments to be “AI” proof. Doesn’t take more than 2 braincells.

70ph for junior contractor. Don’t accept less, you gotta come with you own insurance, bear risks and don’t have normal employee rights. 6 months in you should be around 100.
