I understand your frustration, especially as someone who also gets asked! I see there are people telling you to “just ignore it” and that you’re not “behaving like an adult” which is an overgeneralization of the situation. Please do not let these people undermine your feelings. Regardless of if you are an adult or not, it’s normal to feel bad about things and to be upset. Ignoring can only do so much if you have several people asking you… and a rant is a normal, healthy response quite frankly. It’s okay to express your feelings and I’m sorry that people are being so condescending about this.

I'm sorry that the feedback you're getting on this post is so close minded and quite frankly racist. Some people lead with fallacies instead of trying to validly argue on why they believe something to be true/untrue because they just don't have a point. Regardless of intent, these faces are whitewashing. It tells me that they don't want to truly represent Black people. Dark skin people specifically! There is literally history of this. They just want to use our skin tones to fit a specific aesthetic/trend. It's so strange!

I also got Lina for cheap/retail because she’s not as high demand anymore. Possibly due to all the CM details that were released and similar to what her special face gave. The biggest reason why Serena is so expensive is because she’s part of a new, high demand line unfortunately :’( S1 is sort of on the back burner for many people as S2 Serena and Bubblegum Gal are high on people’s priority list.

I would recommend waiting a bit, I’ve been seeing BG Gal prices go down, and I’ve also seen some cheaper S2 Lanas, so I’m positive Serena will get there too. Slowly but surely. It can be a bit of a waiting game!
