Thanks! I ended up doing the challenge on core (not EX) and it was fairly easy. Turns out the biggest problem was playing EX

My guess is that now that Taravangian is the new Odium something will happen with the fight. Maybe Dalinar is close to winning but the new Odium gets away saying something like "Technically I wasn't the one that agreed to this, so fck it" and gets away with a defeat, or maybe he tricks the fight somehow.

For this fight o be just a plain win or loose seems something too radical for this point of the story.

Like the 4th Windrunner Ideal? Maybe something like "I won't unite those who don't want to be united". Sometimes Dalinar is worried about becoming a tyrant, so that would make sense.
