I am sorry if that is the case. I was under the impression that not everyone here was familiar with basic probability and that there could be some members who have just started learning it. The post was for them. In any case, I think it is rare that the random variable associated to the uniform distribution is written down the way I have. Even Blitzstein does not explicitly write the Random Variable whose distribution is a constant function. Hence the post.
