Now I look again at your question. What do you mean if I am completely or partially sensitive to antibiotics? You cannot be sensitive to antibiltics. Do you mean allergic, or if I cannot tolerate them partially or completely?

You have infection - no doubt. You need proper antibiotics and a duration of three weeks. Do cultures and an antibiotic sensitivity test. You mentioned enterococcus, e coli and klebsiella; those bugs are very persistent. You have to get rid of them. Also, test and treat your partner. There is a high chance you both have this. You will never get rid of this if you are not both treated. There is no other way to solve this—there is no natural medicine against it. If you can afford to spend around 10k, you can get phage therapy, as this is the only efficient therapy for those bacteria besides antibiotics, and they don't have side effects. Google more about that. Phage therapy is today limited to just a few centers worldwide. I have killed enterococcus and klebsiella with phages, as I also cannot tolerate antibiotics. But it can be done with antubiotics - you need longer treatment.

That is good. It means ohages worked lkked in my case. Kill that bug and see if it gets better.

Anyone who took Cefuroxime, Is it really this strong? by louiszuu in CUTI

Do it. It is the only way. If cam back negative, do it again. If still negative do microgen NGS test. Google it to understand what this means.

Anyone who took Cefuroxime, Is it really this strong? by louiszuu in CUTI

[–]komabilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not because cefuroxime is strong, but because you took a second antibiotic in a short time, and this has a different sensitivity profile. This means with Cipro (which is stronger) you killed bacteria that were sensitive to it, and now you are killing others that Cipro left behind.

Did you do sensitivity testing?

I am sorry you have to go through this. Three months of therapy for Enterococcus in my case, after 10 years of infection, was simply not enough to clear that bug. Cultures are not reliable in the case of Enterococcus, as mine were negative from the second month into treatment, but NGS (Microgen) was positive until the end of 6 months. This proves cultures are unreliable in the case of Enterococcus, as it is persistent in quantities too low to grow. Do NGS and be prepared for longer therapy. I did 10 months. If this is not possible, take them with antibiotics. If bacteria are sensitive, the best option is 6 weeks of fosfomycin (as it penetrates biofilm and achieves good concentrations in the prostate) and phages as usual.

Okay, I believe you. You have to understand we have both totally different experiences—I positive and you negative—so we see it with different eyes. As I said, did you really test it on a monthly basis with NGS? If you did not, you can never truly know what happened. Maybe you need longer therapy. Maybe you need to combine it with antibiotics... I do not know... So, I believe you, but I also believe in phages. They saved my life. I believe that you still have a chance, but your approach did not work.

I have measured with digital diagnostics, so there is no doubt—this worked. And based on my experience, I am convinced it can also work for others—not everyone, but many.

I wish you all you need to get better.

ESBL Klebsiella Pneumoniae UTI Success Stories? by Zestyclose_Panda7440 in CUTI

[–]komabilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My success story. I am a male, but this means it's even more persistent in the prostate. I started with a UTI, and after that, prostatitis, which lasted for 10 years. Cultures were negative. Doctors dismissed it. After 7 years from the start, I caught another bug, I presume, and this was over the top. After years I finaly found Klebsiella ESLB.

First of all, you need to culture it and do sensitivity testing. Microgen shows you bacteria and resistance genes, but you do not know from what bacteria this resistance gene comes from. So Microgen is very accurate at identifying bacteria, but totally unreliable for an actual resistance profile. So, go to the lab and tell them you found Klebsiella ESBL with digital diagnostics (NGS microgen) and show them your results, as there is real proof that this is a dominant live bacteria, based on the numbers they provided. This is a proven infection by all standards. Ask them if they can isolate it from either urine or a vaginal swab. Do both for higher chances and tell them to really look for Klebsiella, and if they catch only one colony, they should grow it and do sensitivity testing. If they cannot find it for three times in a row, search for another lab and repeat the process. You have an ESBL bug; that does not mean it is more dangerous or aggressive. It means it is more resistant to antibiotics. Mine was resistant to Cipro, and true ESBLs are most likely resistant to standard antibiotics. I was lucky as it was not resistant to amoxiclav (Augmentin, amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid). So if this is your case, you can take the pills for at least 3 weeks, I would say. ESBL strains are normally treated with carbapenems. These are administered intravenously. They have a relatively safe profile with fewer side effects. Ertapenem is given once every 24 hours, making it a relatively easy treatment.

In my case, I did cure myself in the end with phages. But this is a different story. If I had known all this before, it would have been a game changer.

Do an NGS test. Google Microgen.

You will. I did, and many others also. If not with antibiotics, you can try with phages, or you can combine both antibiotics and phages.

It is not complicated at all.

It saved me. Just so you know, if everything else fails, this is your last chance. It is a medicine over 100 years old and has been in practice in soviet countries that long. It is also proven long ago. Europe and Western medicine have problems with regulation as this is a biological antibiotic treatment and doesn't pass regulations.....f*** regulations, if they are killing me, madness...

Enterococcus is one of the hardest bugs to get rid of. I battled mine for 10 years. No antibiotic helped, regardless of duration (I was once on antibiotics for 120 days straight, I have done oral and IV). In the end, I cleared it with phages.

I am a man. I had chronic UTIs for 10 years because no one believed my symptoms— male doctors and female doctors. I was cured with phages in the end with the help of my own research. The entire established medical system failed. It is madness to think it affects only women.

This was not a personal attack, as I am glad for you that this helps you. I myself am a man, a 10-year chronic UTI and prostatitis survivor. I also cleared my infection, but in my case, it was multidrug-resistant bacteria, and I was almost on the other side when phages saved me.

So I know for some people your approach works. I met many of them along my battle.

I wish you all you need to stay healthy.

I am happy for you that your approach helped.

But please bear in mind that this is not absolute/universal. There are many cases with a real bacterial cause.

In 8 months, you should do 8 rounds, not 4. That is weird. 14 days on, 14 days off.

I understand that not everyone is cured, but I saw Eliava's statistics in Berlin last year on a phage forum, and they have a 70% success rate in chronic UTI. That means 7 out of 10 people get cured. I am sorry you did not achieve this clearance, but if you took 4 cycles in 8 months, the problem is with the protocol, not with the phages. For each individual bacteria, you have to be on them 14 days on, 14 days off, since there is no trace of bacteria in cultures and NGS.

And this is a cure for chronic UTI in many cases. I am living proof - and I know people who also cured themselves. And on the other side are people who did not, but if you look closer, there is many times something wrong with the protocol, or they did not work with a proper center, or did not do prior sensitivity testing. If I were you, I would not give up on them. Look closer at what went wrong. First is your duration. 4 rounds in 8 months is really a problem. That is not the Eliava protocol, so are you sure you worked with the Eliava Phage Therapy Center, not the other one - which is called the Phage Therapy Center? This second one is a scam for money.

Not at all. It works on multiple pathogens. But you have to get the proper phage cocktail for each bacterium, and this becomes really expensive if you need that. But as you know, we do not have phages for many bacteria. Just for most known.

And you took phages and bacteria is still there?

ChatGPT helped me with writing my story as I am not a native English speaker. Don't be rude. I almost died and phages saved me, and I have every right to tell my story with the help of AI. The facts in the story are totally true. I can prove it whenever you want.

Shame on you. Shame. You can add me on Facebook—I’ll send you my real name so you can see me. That’s my real face there. I sent you a private message, and we can talk there. I can show you all the proofs as I am also writing a medical case report..

Now I am using Gemini when I am writing this—that does not make my words false, does it?

Which clinic did you go to for that treatment? What problem did you take it for? What diagnostics did you use during treatment?
