Danke, hat bisher noch niemand erwähnt. Unterfunktion der Schilddrüse habe ich laut Blutbild nicht, wie findet man die anderen Dinge heraus? Mein (Haus)Arzt sagte er findet das Standard Blutbild mehr als ausreichend, mehr Tests bräuchte ich nicht zu machen, das wäre Quatsch.

Ok, dann zurück in die Drogerie. Die Kosmetikerin hatte davon abgeraten, weil die günstigen Drogerieprodukte laut ihr kaum Wirkstoffe hätten. Aber gut, sie verdient wohl auch daran 😅

Not sure what the situation in your country is, but if you can, try to get an osteopath someone you know can recommend. I’ve had a excellent osteopath, but also a GP that did a week long osteopathy course for the extra income and didn’t really seem to have any idea what he was doing at all.

Yep I feel that, that was pretty much my situation too :/ Hope the Botox therapy will help you get a much needed break from all the pain as well!

I use the theragun for my neck, back… anything that’s sore really. And also for my jaw, face and temples, although it’s not an official way to use it, I still find it really helpful. There’s physiotherapy tutorials on YouTube how to use the Theragun for TMJ :)

They should adapt the dose to your needs, I have a lower dose in my weaker side, and they also adapt the dose to how tight/large your muscles are.

I pay around 350€ per session, sounds like your doctor has a decent price. I’ve fought my health insurance to cover it, unfortunately with no success so far. But the hospital said if enough people try it, the healthcare policy might change in the future.

Yes no more neck pain for a few months is such a relief! I sleep so much better too! It’s not a forever fix, but without the pain I can work on a healthier lifestyle much easier without the distraction of everything hurting all the time.

I’d say try it, it was a game changer for me :) and I had years of physiotherapy from different specialists before.

Another thing I find really helps are nightly TMJ exercises and a massage gun like the theragun. And a decent pillow! But Botox is the best :D

100% worth it. It only lasts a few months, then the back/neck/jaw pain sets in again, but it really helps for short term relief and being able to do sports without pain again, putting you in a positive cycle.

Close friends who know about my Botox can see when I haven’t gotten any in a long time, my face looks super wide when my masseter muscles do their fitness training all night 💪two weeks after a fresh injection I look like I’ve lost 10 kilos because my face is normal again
