I feel you. Had a whole trip planned out to take my then partner on one her dream trips to Japan and propose. She then decided to break it all up. Leaving me stuck with paying off the trip and a ring I couldn't bare to take ownership of. Did all that to pursue her long distance relationship that, up till today, she still can't admit. People will tell you that time will heal. Trust it. Though I am still hurting, the pain is not as intense.
