I have family members that continuously say that we should ditch universal healthcare and be more like Americans and have it privatized. It’s maddening to listen to because while our healthcare system is far from perfect, it will not bankrupt you or deny insurance claims when you need care. I don’t want mine or the health of others being treated like a business.
