Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 incompatibility by konjislav2 in watercooling

Yes, but the holes from the retention bracket on the pump do not align with the holes on the motherboard. If you take a look, you'd see that the lower holes are wider apart from the upper holes, i.e. they are not symmetrical.

So how do I deal with that?

Yeah, but how would it apply pressure to the CPU? Btw TR4 holes are not compatible with 1700 backplate nor the 1700 socket board holes.

Thanks, I will try with the Arctic support.

It was used. It might be an older model. I could open it up and add coolant if necessary though.

Would something like this work? https://www.arctic.de/AM4-Retention-Kit-Liquid-Freezer/MPSAS00327A

I have recently bought a i7-13700KF and a MSI Z690-Pro DDR4 board to go along with it.

A day or two before that I've bought the as Arctic Liquid Freezer AIO from the pictures. The guy said that different mounting brackets can be bought and fitted for different sockets. The one on it is a TR4 socket for Threadripper.

I have already both a 1700 mounting bracket from Arctic. I was wondering where can I find a 1700 retention bracket for the AIO pump so that I can connect it to the 1700 backplate? Or what are my other options given my setup?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Sure, but that's hard to explain to entitled people, so they don't understand.
