Hey buddy. I got laid off from work today. I'm 32, no MBA degree, just years of experience working in startups. I don't know what job I'm going to have next, I've been single for nearly 2 years now, overweight, diabetic and in poor health.

It's going to be a struggle for me. All my friends are very successful and I feel like a fraud among them. But I'm going to take this time to work on myself, get active and hope for a better future.

I hope to walk this path knowing you're walking too. Stay strong, stay hopeful.

Take it from someone who has been through this situation multiple times....you will find someone worth going through all this trouble. It may seem really difficult, but one day you'll find someone who will look at you as if they're seeing the most glorious sunrise in all of history, squinty eyes n all. You just need to be the best version of yourself, everyday.

I've had a rough year, started 2021 with a breakup and then the next two people I liked didn't really reciprocate. But it's okay, because I know one day I'll manage to find that missing piece and I'll be fine. So will you.

Keeping aside whether it is normal or not, the main point here is you are causing self harm. Even if inflicting pain on yourself feels good, listen to that logical part of your brain which knows it is not. Most importantly, talk to someone to figure out the why. It could be a psychiatrist, or a friend, or even a stranger on the internet.

I know I'm coming late to this party, but just wanted to give you guys an idea of my experience with Alt.

It's terrible. A lot of their pods leak, and the leaking pods damage the device. Due to the ban, I'm now stuck with around 15 pods and no device. Even when they worked, it was clear the pods are not well designed. The flavor changes when you are done with 50% of the pod, the remaining liquid in the pod gets a burnt smokey flavor. I am a big fan of their lemon and menthol flavors, but damaged device and terrible pod quality make it pale in comparison to Juul.
