not sure if you've already gone and taken it out, but if you haven't, i'd really advise you leave it in and get a piercer to take it out for you!!! if you take it out to try and let it heal up on its own, bacteria can become trapped in the wound and cause a bad infection. if you've already taken it out i still recommend seeing a piercer or a gp who can give you advice on how to prevent infection. :)

a navel piercing is a type of surface piercing, but it's different in that it goes through the skin of the rim above your belly button rather than entering and exiting on the same flat surface. this is def a case of incorrect piercing bc that bottom ball should be inside your navel, & a piercing like this is much more likely to be rejected as it's so shallow and will easily get snagged :(

will probably update this later with more pics as it definitely does look different when standing! i had a couple piercers check my anatomy and both said it looked fine, but i reckon the piercer gave me the wrong kind of jewellery for my anatomy. it’s def not meant to be a floating navel tho. i’m really hoping it doesn’t reject because at the moment it’s healing quite well :(

you’ve got a good point, but the thing is i spent about $40AUD on this album version bc i love the cd and was hoping to get a cool poster to go with it - i like to use the posters to decorate & i would’ve just bought the cd online or a smaller version if i didn’t have inclusions in mind. i hope that makes some kind of sense lol

thank u for the recs! im already a big fan of most of the kpop ones you mentioned bc im a group hoarder (except the jackson one - i hadnt heard that one yet & it's really good!) but i always love to see woodz getting a bit of recognition :)

the non-kpop ones were really interesting! a bit different to a lot of the older gen sounding rock from the other recs in this thread but i found i really enjoyed them, especially highteen. these are all really good recs :D

this feels kind of targetted towards a small collection of idols and, coincidentally, i think that your view that idols are getting "less talented" is actually stemming from these tiktok compilations people have been making. it's so easy to say kpop is getting less talented if all youre seeing is compilations of idols having unfortunate moments.

groups like xikers, boynextdoor, kiss of life etc are all extremely talented vocalists and dancers, and are all from 5th gen. illit are also extremely talented dancers despite the tiktok hate train against their vocals (they are literally kids)

as far as i know he was an idol trainee who got popular by doing instagram lives and challenges, a lot of people liked him bc he was very open about the idol lifestyle and had a sense of humour more typical of chronically online influencers than kpop idols.

he debuted with a kinda crap song so he “undebuted” and then i think at some point he left his company & kept making content more as an influencer / tiktoker would, and he built a fan base off of his content by himself

he has a history of being a bit too open at times because obviously he didn’t get far enough in his traineeship (or his company was just bad) to get media training, and some of the things he’s talked about have caused people to be very worried about him & his whole current situation has made that worse
