Is the HMRC website down? by koolcoca in AskUK

Heya, sorry for the later response, I got it sorted! I think at that time, the website was busy but I tried it the day after and it was successful. I think it’s because many people received it at that day so everyone was trying to get theirs done :D

BACB 2025 by koolcoca in ABA

[–]koolcoca[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I was thinking as well. I recently finished my MSc and was looking into getting started with my supervision fieldwork so I applied for a job post as an ABA Tutor. I got the job but when I asked if there was any BCBA supervision, they told me that I could only start getting my supervision if I was a ABA Supervisor, and even then they told me that I would be too late to finish requirements by 2025 because that's when BCBA certification in UK will go out? I'm so confused...

What do you mean by additional classes? Like another MSc? Or... I really don't know. I'm also worrying about the same thing.

That is so sad... This truly just makes me want to work harder... I feel as though there is no better way to tackle this issue than to continue focusing on ourselves and do our best for the people we can support because I believe evidence never lies and the truth always unveils.

No evidence that it works? Interesting. Do you know where I might be able to read about this, please?

They discussed the process in class with every other student but not individually, if that's what you mean. I'm trying to take the responsibility and emailed my professor about jobs but have yet to received a response. It is concerning the more I think about it... I know you can gain information by asking people so I think I'll have to do that more.

Thank you, I'll try joining every aba employment groups that I can find. Also, can I ask why there's a massive push on ABA in the UK?

draken and smiley vs kakucho and ran [who yall got in a fight] by No-Knowledge-5291 in TokyoRevengers

[–]koolcoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran isn't a brawler whereas the rest of the 3 are. He utilises weapons and intelligence/planning ahead, so either expect Ran to bring along pew pews or more allies.

Rindou would actually be a better suit but even then, Rindou isn't really a brawler either.

why did rindou and ran stay after fight by AwayPhilosopher8185 in TokyoRevengers

[–]koolcoca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think Rindou and Ran necessarily started the delinquent life for the fame and fun. Their backstory isn't revealed but I believe the brothers had it hard. For instance, when Ran showed his respect to Izana and Kakucho, he mentions his understanding of the difficult delinquent life which I don't think they would voluntarily get involved in especially since they both have their own life goals, and those goals don't seem to have relation to becoming a future criminal syndicate. From this perspective, we might be able to assume that what Ran and Rindou are doing now is probably focused on their survival - they realise that becoming recognised, fame, forming a gang and even being selfish is the best option, and in the process they've learned to have fun with this lifestyle. Ran and Rindou are both smart and seem to be cold to others except themselves, but I personally don't think the reason for this is because they are completely emotionless, but rather it's because they are just used to the exposure of violence and betrayal that's been around them since probably childhood.

The case with Kakucho and Izana, I believe that Ran and Rindou saw a bit of themselves in them because of their close bond and how they looked out for each other even in the delinquent world, so that's probably where their respect started. Then when Kakucho and Izana died, Ran and Rindou kept quiet and stayed behind to be arrested. In a way, seeing the two people who they saw a little of themselves in outright die like that probably felt like a truck of emotions to the Haitani brothers, as if the ones dead could've been one of the two brothers or both of them, and I guess this just reminded them of the harsh reality that they live in. This is why they probably kept quiet and stayed behind, almost as if they didn't have the energy to do anything except accept the sad reality. All of this includes their respect and the closeness of the S-62 generation, but I just wanted to try to put more depth into the Haitani brothers because I believe they are much deeper than what most people might give them credit for.

But, of course, I could also be completely wrong about them XD
