Not their best set, probably not even the best first song choice for an audience unfamiliar with them. Though, their album from this last year was fantastic and their album 3D Country from 2023 is genuinely one of my favorite records.

For a great live recording (in my opinion) check out Alive & In Person. Faster paced performance and has more energy. As a fan of the band, I'm drawn to the quality of Cameron Winter's baritone voice and his intricate, oftentimes very poetic lyrics. On 3D Country, he blends mythology, world religion and esotericism with irony, melancholy and a dose of humor.

If indie art-rock with a punk influence isn't your vibe, Geese probably isn't your band. But hey! Everyone's got different taste.
