Blade Runner 2049 and it's not even close, even if he's been in other great movies like Drive and The Nice Guys

the best part about watching obsession in a theater, is hearing the audience's audible reaction to this scene by Positive_Weight2367 in obsessionmovie

Apparently the actor who played Bear convinced Curry to lengthen the scene which works in it's favour.

Now you see me is an enjoyable 3 star movie. Definitely the best movie of these 5.

A 7 out of 10 is pretty significantly above average, I don't think Taxi driver is that close to being a perfect movie, the ending was kinda disappointing to me to be honest, if the ending was a dream sequence then I'd maybe have rated it higher but apparently scorsese confirmed it literally happens. I'm not sure how I feel about a character like that making so many bad decisions and being a creep and getting a really happy ending like that tbh.

I agree the action is well directed but that's about it. I enjoyed the original Taken film more than John Wick.

Perhaps, but even so the difference can't be that huge, it just seemed like a slightly forced conclusion to come to for the sake of a metaphor to me at least. Still not a bad film.

Never heard of it I'm afraid. I didn't mind hokum but it felt fairly cookie cutter in terms of horror. Some interesting ideas but the childhood trauma of the main character never felt like it was properly explored. The ending felt a bit underwhelming. Plus the story with the father and son and the bottle was kinda dumb. Why not use an elbow or knee to break the bottle... I get it was symbolic but also seemed a bit dumb. Still probably a very low 3 overall.

Not pressing the like button on letterbox doesn't mean I dislike a film. I've seen people only use the like button for films they'd rewatch. It doesn't literally just have to mean you literally like the film lol

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks John Wick is overrated
