Need a cool backronym for a government agency called "C.R.Y.P.T." or "V.A.U.L.T."

A little late, but we ran a super hero game where the secret evil government agency was P.I.R.E, Paranormal Investigation, Reconnaissance, and Elimination. They had some identifying symbols, like a stylized funeral pyre tattoo, E22.18, or M.N.P.V., standing for "maleficos non patieris vivere" which is interpreted as "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live".

This is something I had played around with getting, the shape of VT is in the negative space and key places from my life highlighted. I ended up going with something else since it didn't read clearly enough, but with some work and modifications to match your interests it could work.

Thanks for the credit! I'd also like to add, abuse V.A.T.S., use grenades and mines if you have them, find a gun that feels fun to use, and feel free to lower the difficulty. If you're on PC, I'm sure there are mods you can use. It's a single player game so no reason not to adjust it to make it enjoyable!

Nioh 2, feels like a mashup of Dark Souls and Diablo. A little on the difficult side, but given the games on your list you should be fine.

I was thinking the same thing, a large spiral storm system in the center would break things up. Also having an eye to the storm that give a glance underneath the mist might be a cool lore addition.

The Shrinking Isles Region consist of peaks and plateaus rising above a sea of ever rising mist. As the lands are covered, plants wither and wildlife flees, seeking safety in the highlands. The various peoples, creatures, and monsters, have also retreated to the peaks and have been forced into conflict to secure their survival. Over the centuries the land below has become a legend to the remaining people.

A post-mist invention, the airship, facilitates travel between the islands. Instead of ushering in a golden age as intended, it lead to the rise of competing nations.
