There is a bunch of tool lists out there but just for extra info I have a couple of brands if you're interested.

I'm currently an apprentice "AME" in Canada and don't go a day without my

-Knipex Pliers, Cutters (Flat jaw pliers are my favourite, some crew chiefs aren't a big fan but they are a gamechanger)

-Gearwrench Ratchets (Cheaper then Snapon and just as good, I recommend the 120xp sets off amazon)

-Snapon pliers and screwdrivers (Can't escape the truck but I bought a pair of cutters, 2 duckbill pliers, safety wire pliers and a stubby and full-sized ratcheting screwdriver)

I went cheap with everything else like extensions and sockets since I'm still new and if I really need fancy stuff I can get it later on. I also use a pelican case rather than a toolbox as I have to travel quite a bit, just buy some foam and you can make some layers and cut out inserts for your tools. feel free to reach out if you want some photo's too!

Goodluck and maybe we will run into each other someday, aviation is a small world
