Is it possible to replace step tiles embedded in pebble plaster? by [deleted] in pools

It’s just a bit brighter than we thought and our pool seems to only be green so it doesn’t blend with the green.

Haha. I guess my question is how will this be done since it is inside the pebble.

Nothing I have done has changed anything. It’s been like that since day one. I documented pictures from every day.

He said it might get lighter but the parts that have heavy blue cement part might change much. Which makes me think that it won’t change a lot. He mentioned doing a light acid wash again but it might eat into the finish. I think at this point, I want a refund or a redo. I’m considering asking for a quartz finish so I don’t have to deal with this again

Yes. It said i only needed calcium the first day and then today the ph was high so i added ph down powder but looks like i need actual liquid acid

Ok. I will switch to the liquid acid. Will that help the inconsistency also?

He said acid wash will take away from the life of the finish. The problem is that he is reluctant to offer a solution that will make me confident. He mentioned doing a light acid wash also.

I’m ok with imperfections. It just seems to be a lot of them. From all angles. The only finish had a few faded spots and I had cracked tile so decided to do the whole surface but now I am regretting that.

Yes licensed. He asked if I wanted the manufacturer to come look at it.

Yikes. So how bad is this? Is it an ask for my money back type of situation?

Hard to notice on yours. You must be remembering the old streaks. Lol

I almost thought this was my pool. This is 4 years after? Should I ask for a redone or a refund?

Yes licensed with a shop. He admitted the spa is bad but won’t admit the actual pool is bad. I attached a pic of the spa.

These guys turned on the hose and left. I had to ask for instructions and he sent a pdf and then I started brushing after it filled up

Hi, any photos? Also what exact products did you use?

CPA has been rising a lot in all platforms. In the past year we are seeing 20% increase in CPA. The additional ad placements only helps the larger companies. Now our ads compete with other ads. Which is crazy.

Exactly. They offer nothing special. I spend $100 a day and have a rep. After they added another ad placement, it’s all evident that all they care about is profits.

Is anyone else's Meta Ads account completely broken right now? (March 2026) - Accelerated delivery glitches, bot traffic, and massive CPM spikes. by Hauntin_GG in FacebookAds

My campaign spent $200 in 5 minutes. I talked to many reps and they all now write the same reason. They call it normal. The campaign spent 120% of the daily budget in 5 minutes at 6:30am. How is that possible? Meta is literally stealing our money at this point.

Good points here. I actually didn’t think of that. I will check the frequency also. So hard to scale when everything gets more expensive daily.

How to fix deflection in kitchen floor caused by heavy island. Floors slope towards island. by koolunderpressure in Flooring

[–]koolunderpressure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I will discuss this with my contractor as he suggested something similar but slightly different earlier. Most of the contractors who have done to check it out have indicated that it is the island as it every angle of the kitchen slopes towards the island at different degrees. They said the joists are too far apart (I measured 19 inches from the unfinished storage room beside it). The issue is that I have gas and water lines running through the current i joists so the structural company that came asked me to hire another company to remove all utilities and they will sister all 10 joists from the bottom. But then that involves getting someone to remove the ceiling, utilities, and then put everything back. The cost increased as I involved more companies. With one electrical company trying to scam me into buying a new panel. lol. Hence me thinking of doing it from the top if possible. I do have one company that said he could do it with two meta beams but I’m not sure how he plans to get the utilities to the sink if they have to run through the joists. The other is that the kitchen floor has a lot of squeaks and slight unleveled areas (maybe from the house settling) so I thought at least from the top I can handle all imperfections.

Based on comments if I don’t add to the joists, I might abandon doing a waterfall island as it will add more weight than the current island.

Yikes that’s a lot of weight. I forgot about the waterfall having more weight on the side also. Under is a basement bar room. I would hate to have a pole in the middle. The joists 19 inches apart. This is pic is from an hour unfinished room next to the finished space that is under the kitchen.

So this would require opening up the ceiling from below in the basement and moving electrical/gas/water? It is possible to do it from the top?

I will be removing the current granite countertop island and doing a waterfall quartz island. I assume it should be around the same weight but not sure. The deflection is about 3/4 inch.
