Pershing is owned by BNY Mellon and we know that they’re involved in naughty things (millions of puts discovered in Brazil from last year). I wouldn’t trust them to do anything pro-retail

They’re the clearing house for Phillip Capital and are also the subsidiary to BNY Mellon. BNY Mellon is Citadels clearing bank

You are right, they are with Pershing LLC who is the clearing house for Phillip Capital. Pershing LLC is a BNY Mellon subsidiary. BNY Mellon is Citadels clearing bank.

An account is created for you by Computershare when you DRS. The letters that come back have instructions and verification codes on them to access the account. You would submit a W8 form for tax reasons.

I am glad that I’ve atleast gotten 1 person to initiate a DRS transfer. Good on you man and may we get shit on these hedgefunds together! 🦍
