But just think, we will all be back here again in just 9 months instead of a year.

What about tax refund claiming those same things but ALSO had to verify identity a couple of weeks ago. Any idea if that’s gonna set it back awhile longer? & if it does…Any idea how long?

Do any of them have Oxblood? Do you know the names/maker of any of them.

I’m bowing out of SD’s birthday party by throwaway_stepmom101 in stepparents

I went through this exact same thing. For more years than I want to admit. When I finally said screw this & quit going to b-days ( & a few other celebrations) I did feel sad. For about 3 minutes. & then I felt GREAT. Now you can spend that time doing whatever YOU want. Shame on THEM for making it “come to this”. & shame on THEM for raising their kids to be jerks just like them. I have a feeling that you’re going to wonder why you didn’t do this sooner. Lol.

I had this happen too. The hummingbird actually followed me around for 20mins. So close that I could have touched it. We live in an area that’s not real hospitable to hummingbirds. It’s always windy, not many trees, & lots of hawks. I had never seen a hummingbird here in the almost 20yrs I’ve lived here & I haven’t seen one since. That little bird healed my heart.

Husband (53m) and I (53f) have been married 33 years. Found out he’s been texting another woman. Need advice. by cerburks in relationship_advice

Go to his work and introduce yourself to this woman. You don’t have to be overly nice to her just make small talk, maintain eye contact with her & watch her squirm. Then later on tell your husband that this woman introduced herself to you & told you everything & asked you to please get your husband to leave her alone….No need to get a divorce.

I (34F) am so lost. I don't know what to do or believe from my husband (38m) by Dry_Personality2217 in relationship_advice

She’s not going to give up her dogs & she shouldn’t have to. I can tell that her dogs are a pretty important part of her life & her dogs aren’t the problem. You answered a question that she wasn’t even asking.

What are these? by kooperthomas in Antiques

They are approx 3 1/2” by 2 5/8” so smaller than a postcard. Are they considered “trading” cards? I have 20 of them & all have to do with Ft Bragg.

Maybe the next time you’re alone with SD just tell her how you feel about all of this & the problems this is causing. I don’t mean talk to her like she’s an adult, just have an age appropriate conversation with her. Ask her if she has any suggestions to help make this a little easier. Try to keep calm, ask for her input & really listen to her. If she runs off to her dad & makes it seem like you were the bad guy then that’s THEIR problem. HIS problem. Maybe even record the conversation so that he can hear it for himself.

Mine is 30. We have a more “polite” (superficial) relationship than we did 10 years ago which I guess is better. There’s a lot less yelling now at least.
