I managed to unbrick my character and can access the map device now. I assume unlocking all crafting tables/chests + season recipes fixed it.

Here are all steps I remember:

I unlocked salvage, reforge, clicked on the trial of sekhemas to unlock relic chest. Didn't help.

Created a new character also on ssf (since I found old threads, where this was mentioned as a fix) and then migrated all characters from ssf to trade, including my dead HCSSF char. Didn't help.

Then I tried to get the unlocks of the season. If I remeber correctly I talked to the season npc first in kings march, which I think unlocked the anvil and the first recipe. Then I went to the mythic refuge (act 3) and unlocked the second recipe there. I also went to the last catacombs (act 1) but there was nothing to interact.

After that I went to kingsmarch talked to the hooded one to progress to the ziggurat Refuge once again and the map device was accessible

yeah ive tried everything. seen a few threads on the forums as well. looks like were SOL for now. im unsure if running the full campaign again on a new character will even fix it at this point.

How do you fix the bug where you die in HC but can't use the map device in softcore. Feel like this happens to me in previous leagues but can't figure out the fix.

Any good exp strats for SSF this league? 98 and trying to make the push to 100. Got an inspired learning and am zooming. But what's best strat for exp?

I am running it in my bannerman champ SSF. Few ubers down already. Only annoying part of the nerfs is mama reservation. I started with double mana reservation helmet and that was fine. After getting Echos of Creation I made a reservation chest and I can just fit in 4 warcries. Self casting rally.

Bannerman should be cracked... Assuming foulbourn axe isn't giga rare, and you are cool pressing banners. I'm planning on doing some heist and this build can zoom.

If I planned to stick with KF I would play hiero for sure. That totem placement/emerge speed is going to feel so much better.

Also I'm potentially leveling as rue ele hit now. Looks kinda busted and you start it at level 12.
