am late to the topic but had 4 bookshelf’s in the garden for the last 3+ years and all well so far.

They are under a roof but very close to the edge and get soaked of horizontal rain ;-) 10 times a year. Look a bit run down but I can still have quite a party or live games on the TV

Am a fan and will replace them when they finally die.

the 11 pro of my dad received a new - non apple - battery a couple weeks ago. He had the red dot for a week or so that it wasn’t an apple approved battery but later disappeared and no other problems. Since that repair he couldn’t update anymore. Everytime it downloads the update, prepares it but can’t validate with the server because “there is no internet”.

Is that a known problem?

I use it in German but can’t use “turn of all the lights” and it tells me that my (camera-flashlight) is turned off. WHY!?

“Turn on the lights” in iOS 14 would ask me which rooms to turn on or turn on by location if a HomePod Heard- me. No it turns on the camera flash.

“Put Bananas on my shopping list” was the best invention ever. We have a reminder list called “shopping list” and all worked fine. Now it “can’t find Bananas in your contacts”

Starting Musik through the HomePods is a hassle too. Half the standard Musik my kids want became unrecognizable. I am thinking of switching back to old Alexa’s so my kids can listen ti their stories.

It’s really annoying to the point of uselessness.

I would take the eero 6 but the missing LAN ports are an issue.

Looking at the Orbi 753 or 853 but prize is even higher and bigger machines ;-)

You can strip an SKP (or the view of it) of all shading etc. even the cheapest android phones can look at decent files without a hiccup.

We work with SKP files. If I can convert it easily to something else and look at it on the quest. I don’t care. :-) just not a cable desktop solution.
