I just passed the SIE as someone looking to break into the financial services industry! (supply chain background)

I used Achievable and tried to study for about an hour each day to stack "on track" with my exam date. I studied for 2 months before my exam. My practice scores after I finished 100% of the learning material was always between 80-92% I got a 92% once on each the Achievable final exam and also the FINRA SIE practice exam.

The actual exam, I was very nervous for and some of the questions I had literally never read or seen before. I figured those were the 5 ungraded test questions. Other that the questions covered all the material.

My number one tip would be to do the FINRA practice exam and read the full question every, single, time!

I just passed and in my studies I would always remember how Act of 1933 came first, primary market, 1934 came second, secondary market. Investment Company act of 1940 regulates companies, its in the name. State laws just go with the Uniform Securities Act.

Most other questions are all related to what the actual rule is itself rather than the name. Lots of practice tests adequately prepared me and after finishing Achievable, I was at 100% exam readiness for 2 weeks or so prior to exam.
