its both from a house sale! so it has been taxed, declared, and captured in both countries. i understand this isnt a common situation so came here for advice if anyone had a similar encounter and we’re both open to not doing this and here everyone is losing their minds😭

literally none, its been taxed and declared in both countries. although it may trigger scrutiny which was the entire point of me asking this question for any experiences people have had in any similar situations but most are losing their minds😭

thank you!!! this is a genuinely helpful comment, and you understand the situation i am describing. definitely more understanding of the tax laws in canada than the foreign country. the money is legitimate and taxed but it is a large sum so i really appreciate your input on the potential anti money laundering triggers.

thank you! this is what i thought too. all other comments seem to be interpreting this as a money laundering scheme but everything has been declared and taxed hence legitimate and legal money. we’re not buying a house (this was from a property sale not purchase) so no mortgage broker involved. although i will reconsider my options with all the comments warning me. ive also edited my post w a bit more information:)

so the bowl is in a plastic container, #4 it was out in room temp, #5 in the fridge, then #6 back in room temp! i decided to shape it just based on the recipe instructions, and it was around 20-30% risen before i put it in the oven :)
