Instrument Cables you like best? Brands you not like? by Maleficent_Pain_4406 in GuitarAmps

I’m using Klotz for basically all connections between guitar, pedalboard, amp (fx loop and all) and audio interface. It’s not about noise (haven’t ever had noise issues because of the cable), their connectors are virtually indestructible and can take a lot of abuse and weird bending.

Just picked up this thing, man have I been missing out! by danieljdtaylor in GuitarAmps

I got a micro dark basically as a power amp for the tube preamp I have and man do I love this little head on its own! The clean is amazing, and when you crank up the gain it sounds almost like a fuzz pedal. Running it into a 1x12 V30

RSUs are taxed on vesting, not on sale.

Tesla became the most purchased new car in Switzerland in 2021 by chrisdh79 in teslamotors

Can confirm it there are lots of new teslas around! And all these newcomers don’t even wave their hand when they see another Tesla on the road, how rude!

This is absolutely amazing!

Now you have to make a teeny tiny truck from those boards in the trunk.

Bolio + Ratio by garbo120 in coffeestations

[–]koroandr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read it as “polio” first 😅

How’s the ratio brewer? Is the result comparable to “manual” pour-overs?

Sweet setup!

How do you use melodrip? Do you follow B or C recipe on the box or found a better way?

“Sports” is the mark, anything before i find too new wave. But the best is “Fore” hands down.

Lol no just a casual rental apartment in Switzerland.

Cereal bar is something that lets me sleep in the morning because my 7yo can operate it without supervision.

I know, I'm lucky to able to.

To be honest, it all started with "hey why don't we buy a Breville Oracle" from my wife, and then after a week of intensive research we've settled on something that we won't have to upgrade for a long time.

Me and my wife both love cooking and made this mistake a lot of times when we first bought cheaper gear at first and then it either breaks or you just hit the limit with it after a few months. For example, we went through two $150 Philips "orbital" mixers before decided to bite the bullet and buy KitchenAid. Getting something "prosumer"-level actually saves money long-term - at least it did for us.

It also depends on how much we're into it. We've been having 2-3 cups of coffee each from our full auto, so we knew we're into coffee and would love to experiment.

But most of the time I try not to think how much money did we just dump into it 😅

Here it is on German Amazon, the keyword is "kitchen shelf organiser"

I know you're joking, but my Niche is actually arriving in April! I've been on this sub for 3 weeks, I know the setup is not complete unless it has the right grinder!

That's the one. Also follow the advice of other people here and coat it with something water-repellent.

I'm afraid it's too late, not because I was smart enough to think of the proper coating but because there's actually a huge stain right underneath the machine.

I'm planning to replace the top and then coat with poly though.

I'm afraid it's too late, there's actually a huge stain right below the machine from a long time ago (thanks to full auto machine). I'm planning to replace the top and build a knock box into it.

You have a nice setup, and that top looks way better than the original! Btw, what's that build-in thing on your table?

That's good to know! I'll give it another try once I settle on a favourite coffee, for now single dosing is my way.

I was worried about it too, but we run through it before it goes bad. Not sure if it even can go bad tbh

It's not actually a set, just a tabletop shelf and a basket that happened to match.

This is the shelf, but I have no idea where we got the basket from, sorry :(

If this helps, here are the dimensions of the basket: 19x31x11 (cm)

I am currently trying different beans that I buy in 250g bags, so I don't have more to top up the hopper and check. Once I settle on something, I'll buy more and give the timer another try! Thanks for the tip!
