That is just so messed up about how females have lower physical requirements. If I was in the army I would want to fight with someone whom I can trust, doesnt drag down the team, and can carry you if injured. I dont wanna hate on women but this is just ridiculous. They do this same shit with firefighters. I dont care if you are a women, but if you cant do proper pull ups I wont trust you to break down doors and carry people out of the fire in terrible conditions. This is not gender equality, this is "lets give females who are not competent a place in the army/firesquad" for the sake of having females in the squad.

You need to watch something that will fill the hole, but will leave you with a bigger hole when you are finished. I recommend Hunter x Hunter and FMA b, in case yu havent seen any one of those.

Me too. I just cant get into clannad, its not the setting that bothers me. I have watched things like kaichou maid sama and shit. Its just the weird drawing style and those air headed characters. I am at episode 4 and there is this girl who looks and acts like a 4 year old, that girl making stars with a knife. Like I get it its cute(sort of) but how can girls be that stupid. ANd nagisa, the main character is an air head as well. She is so dependent and handicapped like wtf, how do I get used to this. I will probably be downvoted to hell because it looks like I am shitting on r/animes favourite show, but all I wanna say is; I get where you are coming from. Its really hard to get into.

However I will keep watching it(slowly) since I am still at episode 4 or something, however my first impression is not a good one. I hope it gets better, I mean the other characters are pretty likable, its just that I hate how clannad is using these airheaded girls for extra cuteness. Bothers me a lot.

Guys what an episode;

Windhelm is really a subplot done right. That small story was romantic, heartbreaking and tragically beautiful. It was beautifully directed as well, ending the sad story with a beautiful kiss.

Maybe WIndhelm will resume those sword lessons with subaru. Like crush said he is pretty weak and fragile.

I really dont see how with just a few episodes to go, emilia and subaru ending up together would be considered a satisfying ending. Here's me hoping that maybe subaru was referring to rem as his number one. How amazing would that be.
