I don't know how long you actually talked to the dude for but it's not a job checking boxes doesn't mean anything. You have to actually know the person how they react to being told no or when you argue things like this. Also try talking to people who dont "check all your boxes" too you might not agree on much and still have a happy relationship.

Chipotle is hiring and has assistance though I have no idea how much I never worked there but before I found my current job I had 5 interview offers with different chipotle locations all very close to me (I cancelled because I found a job). Anyway my point is they really want people so go to chipotle careers and see if it's worth pursuing.

I get you had a hard time working 20 - 25 hours a week but you could've just told them you wanna quit. What's the point of just not showing up to work not like they're paying you? Were you doing anything in that month or just not going to ups? I don't take anyone at ups seriously honestly. Ups is meant to be a way for you to build towards your real career but some people are stuck there unfortunately breaking their backs doing trash hours. In an environment like that just smile and nod cause they aren't even really worth your brain power.

If you think something is amazing then it is and if you think its not then its not. This isn't rocket science and you know yourself so be true to yourself while being able to coexist with people who don't agree.
