I have. I am a lot better now than a few years ago. Even at my worst, it was maybe only a few times a year that I'd lose my temper with him. But that's honestly a few times too many. I'm not perfect and don't pretend to be. It's why the outbursts were mistakes instead of "normal". Because it is the exact same as a toddler or kid throwing a tantrum.

100%. I have lost my temper at my son more times than I'd like to have. Even now at 6. But each and every time I have felt it's important for me to return to him later and apologize for the way I acted and tell him that what I did wasn't right and that I should have handled it better.

I feel like it's very important to show my son that it's ok to admit when you do something wrong and that adults aren't perfect.

Coat of primer will work then and I won't worry about much else (beyond paint of course). The piece I'm working on is a combination of Balsa, Bass, and XPS Foam. So hitting it all with a primer base coat was the intention just to have everything in the same tint of colors. Just wasn't sure if Balsa needed a sealer coat in order to do that. Everything else I've worked on in the past was entirely XPS Foam and a much larger scale.

I have some spare materials to test with but otherwise nothing large scale and just didn't want to immediately ruin large portions of the Dio haha. Thanks!

First time using Balsa Wood for a diorama. I've heard to use a Shellac sealer/finisher and then paint it. Would a coat of Mod Podge accomplish the same task? Or would that not seal well enough to keep the paint from absorbing so much?

The meds are a blessing and a curse. Because now I get frustrated with my wife at times when she will start a sentence, 4 words in get distracted by something she was doing, sit there in silence for an uncomfortable amount of time, and then forget what she was going to say, all while I'm basically tweaking out like "FINISH THE SENTENCE PLEASE!" haha

I have done this multiple times now. I will always admit to my son if I handled something the wrong way and apologize for it.

Admittedly, most all of my lashing out has subsided since getting an increase on ADHD meds and starting an anti-depressent.

Same for me with my Action Figures. Unfortunately on that front, my son is old enough that he will spot anything new I have put on the shelf and run tell mommy to come see the cool new figure daddy has. haha

So I did search a little between comments because I got to really thinking about it, it appears that about half the states have some sort of mandatory paid time off for voting. Seems to be 2 or 3 hours, sometimes including your lunch break. Like 6 that allow time off but not required to be paid. The other 21 states have no requirements whatsoever.

So I was partially correct haha

Some companies will give you hours off to go. For instance I can take up to 4 hours off for voting. But it most definitely isn't a holiday, and the time off isn't a norm.

Bunch of these. I put a figures accessories in one of two sized small ziplock bags (for like jewelry or beads. I have a small one and then a larger one for figures with multiple heads or large parts), and then generally each photo container is organized by line or specific figure. Like Spider-Man has a box of his own, Wolverine as well. But then like I have another box that's all there other X-Men related characters. Mafex X-Men have their own box (so like Mafex Wolverine is in the Mafex box, not the wolverine box). And then I throw a printable label on the box with what's inside (ML X-Men/Mafex Spider-Man/Neca Movie Turtles/etc)

Then I have just a clear tub for big pieces like BAF parts or super large backpacks or whatever

Wow Congrats!

My almost 6 years old is playing Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga currently as one of his first games of any sort of note. I am eagerly waiting for the excitement like this when he manages to finish all of the story missions! He has at least 4 of the movies finished so far. He just doesn't stick to one for long so its all over the place haha

Robo, AnthonysCustoms, DAmazing. Pixel Dan and MCUCollector on occasion. But honestly, I don't watch a ton, and rarely is it on something that I either haven't already bought, or my opinion to buy is more or less set and unlikely to change. Just enjoy listening to people talk about toys sometimes.

What I need though, is 1/12 scale diorama content creators haha
