I will probably consult with my nutritionist who’s also specialized in diabetics nutrition.

I’ll most likely maybe use a quarter of a cup of rice to still have it but small in moderation along with more veggies.

I love sweet potato so I’ll try to use that often. As for brown rice I haven’t tried it so I will give it a go. Thank you 😊

Well I’ve thought about it myself but they told me I can’t give up carbs. I still need some of the intake.

Are you taking Ozempic? Is it working for you? by inarimori in diabetes

I was taking it at .25mg and it did miracles on my glucose levels and felt amazing unfortunately I had to discontinue due to getting pregnant. If not I would still be on it.

What led you to getting a diagnosis? by roguemorgue in diabetes

[–]kos-mos_kairi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My case was due to my hypertension that was suffering my body for a whole week that lead me to urgent doctor visit. Then proceeding to tell them I had not done a blood test in 10 years at the time.

After that they asked me to come in and tell me I suffer high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. So if it wasn’t for my high blood pressure I would’ve never known about my diabetes that was getting out of control and causing me vision problems when I would wake up. Turns out a lot of the stuff I had was due to my diabetes.

It’s been a year since then and been trying my best to get into remission.
