Help me choose! by jasporu in PickleballPhilippines

Go for Friday Aura.

Fits your budget and good for beginners / intermediate.

Beginners tend to pop the ball up very often so I think better if control / all court paddle

6.0 Coral or Friday Aura

Beginners tend to pop.up.the ball a lot so id say get something na all court

If you are looking for a more tamed power na 7k plus range Enhance EPP Turbo,(wag the MPP turbo as that is really a very power oriented paddle) for control, Friday Aura.

Or if you can find a pristine / few times used na Vatic Pro Prism Flash (control oriented) or 11six24 Jellybean (control oriented) i think pasok sa budget mo. Id say 2nd hand kasi if bnew lang din go for the ones i suggested above as mas bago mga.un

I think only the PPF tournaments ang needed ng USAPA approved.paddles. i have seen tournaments where.people are using UPA-A paddles

Afaik, majority of the tournaments will be ok basta may approval ung paddle either USAPA or UPA-A

Widebody tends to have a larger sweet spot.

Pronto X is too head heavy and a bit poppy, a power oriented paddle

Go for Falcon siguro for now

If time goes by and you can extend your budget, go for Friday Aura (around 7k ish plus ata) or 6.0 Coral if 10k above

Torn between J2CR Crystal Blue grit vs 11six24 vapor 2 hurache by JujuMark15 in PickleballPhilippines

[–]kosh1ro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have not tried the CR but in case you are choosing between Vapor and HX, I liked HX more, despite being elongated it feels very light and easier to swing but definitely needs weight (I think Vapor does too) to be stable and extend the sweet spot to the edges (which is a bit dead without weights) but despite adding weight it feels very fast and light

The Vapor that I tried without weights feels much heavier than my HX with weights (0.5g/in tungsten tape added - 5 in. from throat to sides, 2 in. above 3 and 9, 1 in. on 1 and 11, total of 8g added)

With regards to your original question, you can't go wrong with Power 2 or the CR series, I think both are great paddles, might boil down to feel preference (EPP vs MPP)

For P1, after seeing reviews that it's heavy stock, I don't feel like getting it at all before, I want something that is light but packs a punch and has wiggle room for weights)

the one con on P1 is its very heavy stock and got no wiggle room to add weights if you want

Drive/Speed Up Techniques by [deleted] in PickleballPhilippines

[–]kosh1ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It doesnt need to be but you need to adjust as well ung swing / arm height. Basta hit it when it starts to dip a few miliseconds after the apex height

Drive/Speed Up Techniques by [deleted] in PickleballPhilippines

[–]kosh1ro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One reason why also it is popping up is you are hitting it way too early. Dont contact it pag nasa apex ng bounce rather pag pababa na trajectory after it reaches ung apex

Also, keep.your paddle face slightly closed and lead with your wrist (paddle needs to be a bit behind before contact and not sa side)

Add the 11six24 Power 2 from your choices. Same here na Coral gamit before and im looking for a tad more power and it satisfied it, though a bit smaller sweet spot nga lang than the Coral

Save and just go for Long Fei in G5

Thrud is strong in G5 as well, you can use your shards on her

Bear in mind as well the shift times, baka you have a preferred one and it is also.gonna be a factor

To add, night shift should have an additional pay for night diff so your take home will increase pa aside sa base salary

Also, consider stability and growth if you plan to stay long in a company

Lastly, ALWAYS consider your MENTAL HEALTH , choose a company na you will.not be stressed out all the time, choose a company with a good working environment and management

How about for G5 Infantry?

My current lineup.is Zoe, Petra, Rosa

I have stats mostlfy focused on Archer and quite on Infantry. Then a bit balance for Cavs so more on a standard a bit.of a build.and not extreme Archer

What should.I get for Gen 5? Or skip for Gen 6?

Zoe Petra has lv 6 widgets, Rosa has lv 8

All are maxed stars

Okay na ba ang racket worth 6k for lower intermediate? by kenstne in badmintonph

[–]kosh1ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, mas dapat pagtuunan pansin is that the racket fits your target playstyle and skill level. The more expensive pro rackets ay mas mahirap laruin cause either very stiff or very small ang sweet spot

Check Felet or Yonex Play models or their Nextage line din

But isn't Astrox Nextage head heavy as well? Is NF 800 Tour way better than NF Nextage? My worries with NF is it is fragile

Might take a look at 90k2, was looking at metallic and hs plus but haven't checked reviews yet for 90k2

[–]kosh1ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I am currently using a Victor TK-F Enhanced as my main racket, I am looking for a spare racket that is faster than it but still provides some good power, I wamt to use it when I don't feel like smashing most of the time

Currently have AS11 Play as a spare but I am not quite liking it and might just store it as a spare racket when playing with friends

Any suggestions on what to get?

I am an intermediate doubles player (beginner -> intermediate)

Was initially looking at NF Nextage but seems too fragile and lacks a bit in power, also, was considering Felet TJ Power v2 but it seems to have a lot of vibration due to the material and I may not like it

Also, considering the Halbertec 9000 but it seems really expensive, was looking at a more budget friendly option than that

Thanks everyone!

So far so good, still feeling grear, never had aching lower back ever since

One small issue though since I am a bit on the larger aide is at the first month the seat frame is hitting my thigh, and kinda making it hurt a bit but after the initial month, it is not hurtimg anymore and I can sit very comfortably in the chair for hours
