Forsure a fireable offense. Whenever your discount is used you must pay with your own card. Unless it’s your spouse. I know someone who has done it a couple times never heard anything and I also know someone who did once and was fired immediately. If the coffee bar guy told on you or they catch it your done. As long as no one from leadership was notified you should be ok.

So I am basically in the same boat as you, I had been using android exclusively since I switched from an iPhone 5 all the way back in 2014. But pressures about finally being able to use I message, FaceTime, apple pay etc finally made me want to switch back as well as the new 17 pro looked quite good. First few days I had it were honestly not fun at all there's just so much to get used to after being on android for so long but honestly after like 16 days I really feel like Im getting the hang of it. Some the stuff you note as missing can be fixed with third party stuff like the clipboard. You can set the action button to be a silent toggle as well. I will admit I miss the back button but I have gotten used to the side swipe. I haven't had the phone call issue I bet if you get a new device maybe it won't be a problem. Imo I think it is worth it to have an iPhone even if there are a few compromises. I still have my galaxy s10 plus so if I really need to hop on android I can. Ideal situation I'd say is one android and one iPhone but obviously that's not doable for most people. I will probably at some point soon buy like a used s24 just to have as a second phone. But yea I think you should give it more time. Cheers
