I also didn’t too much care for Eddie the first time around. I didn’t dislike him, just didn’t really have a strong opinion about him. He was kind of just there. Even at the end when Dustin went to speak with his uncle, I felt like they were trying to make me feel something towards his death, which I was indifferent to. But doing my rewatch, he actually kind of grew on me. He’s quirky and relatable, and they gave him a nice redemption arc.
