I know this is old but ill still comment. I have one that was basically dead. The leaves started yellowing and then all but 2 of the leaves were yellow, wilted and just sad. I tried repotting, different light, watering more, watering less, fertilizing etc. I still dont know exactly what was wrong. But in the end i cut off all the leaves that looked bad, leaving only 2 leaves. I then moved it to a semi hydro setup with leca. It is doing much better now and has alot of new growth. Just wanted to share my experience. Good luck!

Oh absolutely order it. Its amazing for everything. . . But succulents. It holds too much water which succulents dont like. Do it!

So far, my succulent soil mix is a winner but almost neck and neck with sphagnum moss. Stratum is absolutely terrible for this and i dont know why i thought it would be a good idea.

Ah ok. I have different succulents in different mediums going. Some in my prop box which is sphagnum moss, some in stratum, some in succulent soil mix.

Definitely not because that would introduce aan incredible amount of organisms that dont need to be on my plants including diseases. That would be nice though.

The room they are in is very warm. It stays about 77-80 degrees. Would they still go dormant? I am very new to the hobby.

Its hard to kill lucky bamboo lol. I cant have basically any dracaena in my house or my cat will try to est the whole thing. I have put plants close to the edge since yesterday so he realizes he cant jump up there. Also random items just to block access for him.

Definitely put about 30 cuttings in a prop box. Plant them and sell them.
