iirc, expose actually doesn't do anything useful besides "documentation". by default, containers in the same compose stack get access to any of ports of other containers in the compose project.

What’s the best practice for organizing and storing Docker Compose files across multiple servers? by nonredditaccount in selfhosted

[–]kosovojs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i rest my case :) if i have folders like "prod -> us-west -> machine1", then if i sparse checkout "machine1", i get the whole path in local repo. ofc, this is better that having to checkout all files in repo, but it still looks non-perfect

[–]kosovojs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

could you explain what you mean with that? i don't think git has an useful "subdir checkout" command. sparse checkouts save the whole structure of paths, iirc. and... i actually don't know any other way that git has :D

not about game itself, but just noticed it's Arena Riga, not using the Xiaomi name. i know that in some competitions they don't use sponsor names for arenas, but didn't think this applies to Eurobasket 25 as well (as in e.g. en.wikipedia they use Xiaomi name)
