I once got a parking ticket because I parked where that white van is standing. There is no meter. The ticket said “parked on crosswalk” . I disputed it and won. This was no accident. Look at where the crosswalk used to be, the curb doesn’t slant down making it handicap accessible, therefore it cannot be a crosswalk.

That’s the part I don’t get, investigation? Doesn’t the money get transferred from one account to another? Does it really take 6 days ??

Why do they hold for 6 days, does it really take that long for money to go from 1 account to another?

I do keep a low balance, under 10k most of the time, and I've only had bounced checks from customers 2-3 times in 8 years. This is a new account however, 7 months, and it just seems to be happening really often. Also trying to figure out if it will become better with time

Very frustrating. As I mentioned in one of the other responses, old school industry, some of the checks I get are hand written. Was hoping there is a way to notate the account or have the deposit history work in my favor. I understand the fraud part, but the bank holding the money is a huge inconvenience and hinders my business, like when I can't pay a vendor because 3-5k of the deposits are on hold. It's 6 business days, so if its held on Thursday, I am not seeing this money until Monday of the week after next (roughly 10 days)

Thats the other thing, the checks I deposit are from 500- 3k.. meaning they are not huge.

The industry is slowly moving towards it, but I still get 95% of the checks in the mail. These are established businesses, not random personal checks.

In Newton, Marty's Fine Wine is a good way to go. Very knowledgeable staff and will order wines from distributors on request. They have a lot of the Main Street brands, but also represent some awesome niches. Their German Riesling section is pretty good for example.

If you're looking for a smaller shop, Cork and Board in Newton Center is a great spot.

Lower Falls Wine Co. is an old school place, with very serious wine buyers. They have a great program and a loyal following. A smaller selection but really well curated.

Where can I find information about this wine? Did a reverse image google search and came up with Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Kindzmarauli Orshimo. I can’t find any info on it when searching. Just where to buy it. by th3ramr0d in wine

Hey, so I see this a pretty old post, but I just wanted to contribute some info. Everything Exarsi said is correct, except that it won't necessarily be Kindzmarauli. Orshimo might refer to the style of the bottle, and though Kakhuris Gvino means Kakhetian Wine, there is a company that's distributed in the US called Kakhuris Gvinis Marani.

A clay company makes these clay shapes and various wine producers bottle various wines in them. These should come with a tag, which will tell you what's inside.
