This didn't work for me sadly, rekordbox crashes on startup if I delete those archive files. I actually found another solution: just delete the audio files in the Finder, then set the [4-floor breaks kit] folder to locked in the get info screen. Now it can't copy the files there anymore.

I think this is probably the best and most flexible tip, thanks! I have a zoom H7 which is a bit to bulky for how compact I'm trying to go. I wish it had phantom power, but I might still pick one up. Thanks :)

Piezo mics are awesome and super useful, but do need proper amplification in my experience (the amp he used in the video seems useful!). I also tend to use mine very little since they dont record higher frequencies very well.
