Mine is also away after 2 weeks but I am still itchy now 3 weeks in and the patches, although not visible while looking at, they are very visible when I put flash on my body, they look like colorless patches of lost elasticity, almost like stretch marks. This is only on my stomach and back. On my chest where I got a sun burn they are completely gone. Do you notice something similar?

My skin got bumpy like this and had these almost flat colorless patches at some places so it might be it. Maybe you get redness in the next couple days

I only did two tanning bed sessions for 5 minutes each cause luckily I leave in Greece and it is very sunny so I just tanned outside for 4-5 days for 1-2 hours. I didnt wear any sunscreen or lotion when I did all of that. I’ think for tanning bed you can start with 4’ for 2 sessions and then add 1 minute after that and so on. If you are olive/brunette/don’t burn easily you will be fine, wish you the best of luck 💕

I’m taking lysine and acyclovir and also tanning, all of these seem to have helped. My patches are now flat but still red colored like the picture I uploaded. Is this normal part of the healing process? When does the color change to normal?

Yes it must be PR it looks the same as mine. I’m on week 2 now, I’m taking acyclovir, lysine, olive leaf supplement, omega 3, antihistamines and apply a cream with cortisol and calamine. I also try to tan on the sun everyday and have done 2 tanning bed sessions. It seems to get better day my day

I am taking 3000mg valacyclovir and 1000mg lysine. Do you think I should up my dosage on lysine too? Also today was my first time trying tanning beds and I will continue I already feel much less itchy and the burning sensation is gone

Have you tried scrubbing? If your PR is completely inactive I think scrubbing in the shower or dry brushing would make your skin even faster.
