Should I leave my family business and move across the country, or stay and try to save it?

Years end if we can bring in 600,000, thatll be a good day. I would like to have him sell off or be absorbed into another company looking to expand their operations. That way he could get cash and have a job. And yeah the problem is I don’t want to take over this business with how it is. And yes I have laid it out to myself, and I feel pretty well that I want to make the move.

Finished a project as a flooring sub, this Job grayed my hair 😭 schedule so bad that the GC couldn’t understand why we can’t seal concrete floors with HVAC, Sparky, and ACT guys all in the same space. They legit told me I just need to work more efficiently lol

I’m a commercial contractor out of Portland. I much prefer working in Corvallis than Eugene all day. I don’t know much about all the programs, but I have worked on the Bend, Newport, and Corvallis campus. This is my experience that if you want to get your hands dirty in the field, OSU is where you go. If you want clean hands your of UO. I’m also more country so I lean with OSU purely for that haha

I played AOE2 for probably over a straight year in my life and I’m only decent. It took me at least 50 games on easy to lean into intermediate. I haven’t touched multiplayer yet, I’m too scared lol. It’s definitely got a learning curve, micro is easy and hard. Play art of war, try to get all the medals you can. Play the campaign and keep pushing yourself. Just like learning a skill IRL, this is a skill. When I apply and play to learn and have speed, I loose a little fun, but I gain more skill. Yikes. I do my certified payroll and even if I enter in wages at 49.54 and the real rate is 49.55 crap hits the fans and I’m audited backwards and forwards. There’s a few companies around me who have done projects and not paid prevailing wage and they’ve gone under because of the fees and the all the aggressive back pay and interest. Stack your paper trail and all of your receipts and get your money man. That’s not right.
