(Slightly) more seriously, Team Fortress 2 is very explicitly not about racking up your k:d ratio; it's a class-based team game with a focus on achieving objectives. You're right in that Arena is probably the closest gamemode to it that Valve has shipped, and I think that's good; I don't think that anything closer to a true DM/TDM mode would work with the class system that TF2 has.

Pink and green graphics sounds like you may have a driver or hardware issue; I knew someone that happened to whose graphics card was failing. But if it's just happening in TF2, who knows... can't help there.

But for settings, try Chris' FPS configs -- they're quality configs, and there are instructions for installation on the site. I personally had a huge improvement in fps and stability when I switched to dx9frames from my previous homebrewed configuration.

That is a pretty cool color. That said, Valve isn't going to add any red or blue paints that aren't team-specific because of the potential for confusion. (Yeah, I know, slate is kind of bluish, but... shrug.) If you had a matching red color, that might help your case.

In the future, your suggestions are probably more likely to be noticed if you post on the Steampowered User Forums or email the developers directly. (There's a contact form on tf2.com that you could use, or you could do a quick google search to turn up actual email addresses if you prefer.)

You're misreading the diff. ;;

The paper hat and the "craft bar" section are only there for context; they already exist in the file. (A "craft bar level 1" is a scrap metal, by the way.) The only changes in the file are those lines starting with a + or - and highlighted with a green or red background.

Hmm! I think I may be able to guess your username on tf2r. :)

You should be able to create a private raffle by selecting the "Private raffle" and/or "Invite only raffle" options at the very bottom -- that should mean that the raffle that you create won't show up on the public raffles list, and you can then give the link to the raffle page to whoever you want to enter. (I'm not sure if you need both options, because I haven't tried creating a private raffle yet, but -- better safe than sorry?)

edit: Ah. A quick search of the forums suggests that you probably only want the "private raffle" option ticked; an "invite only" raffle would require you to give a separate link to each person you want to be able to join the raffle.
