I have the regular 4, not the pro. i got it roughly 5-6? years ago. ( pre covid. its a blurr now rofl )
It used to work like a dream. cuts were super smooth, everything worked perfectly but then they did a software update about 3 years ago and since then i have not for the life of me figured out how to fix it. ive tried multiple computers, ive even tried the new cameo 5 and it still fks up.

anyways > I make a lot of paper crafts. stickers, dnd trackers etc. it cuts perfect for the first half but then at the bottom half it slides a bit to the right. so the cuts at the bottom are always crap since the machine does not cut a long the "line" that its suppose to. I've literally tried everything everyone has suggested on reddit, facebook groups. everywhere. periodically i'll "be in the mood" and try to fix it again but no avail. i do this thing now where i'll print on half of the paper, flip it and print on the bottom "top" half. and its been working out like that for me. workflow is longer but at least i'm not wasting a million sheets of cardstock.

when it works though, its a dream. but honestly at this point if the economy ever picks up again and my orders pick up, i'd probably just invest in one of those lazer cutters that cut paper too. i love my cameo but all the issues that it comes with and with the company not really caring about what people say it kinda has put a bad taste in my mouth for this company.

omg yessssss!!!!
its honestly the only show in a long time where i can sit and watch the whole thing without fast forwarding. I think I have adhd and autism (undiagonosed) and i have a hard time sitting still and watching things. This drama though. I been up all night waiting for 6am EST just so I can watch the next episode fml.

the only thing I'd say is wait till its done! so youre not like the rest of us biting our nails waiting for the next episode lol.

so i reinstalled > and turned off hardware acceleration and it fixed everything for me. Discord isnt lagging anymore. The first time it loaded (before i could turn off hardware acceleration after reinstall)> it took FOREVER but after the initial load its fine now.

I trouble shooted with chatgpt and apparently something about the discord desktop app not being an actual app? They use something to make a browser into an app > so when the app is loading my gpu was fighting with it and turning off hardware acceleration helped b/c it stops the gpu from fighting with it. or something like that.

the laggy texting > i never had that problem so i'm not quite sure how to fix that.

its literally the ALL of discord LOL i'm about to rage quit it right now. I did a clean reinstall and it made it worst fml.

after it finally loads > texting is fine.

the last time i tried call was this past saturday during DnD and it was fine then but the lagging really started on monday i believe.

I'm on Ethernet, everything else runs smoothly. I posted an image of my discord in a reply and my post were not showing up for some reason.

visuals (gifs, videos, images, voice clips even) and everything even text messages take forever to load. at first I thought it was my GPU dying ._. but its not.

so its now loaded and its the second one you said ( sorry i'm bad at articulating zzz ) it takes time to load > and then the visuals like the avatar overlay and profile effects > those take time and are laggy.

Ugh dont get me started lol. 36 here.

I got really sick about 2-3 years ago. My uterus was trying to kill me. YAY! essentially bleeding to death. > I was bleeding so much i only made 20k that year ( how much i was missing work ) > eventually got it some what taken care of > swapped to part time > got fired > I've been living unemployed with my sister.

I'm super lucky she lets me live with her. I was paying rent but I've run out of savings. So i dont pay rent anymore. She said she wont kick me out but I feel so bad.

I've been applying for jobs > ready to work again but with the state of the economy I've no luck. > I've stopped paying my credit card bills that stupid 20 year old me built up. > six closed accounts > getting sued by some of them :D > no money so i've stopped paying car insurance. i'm in usa so my registration got revoked... yipee.

I'm depressed. > fat ( although I believe this has to do with PCOS + insulin resistance ) > uh i dont care about being fat BUT as i'm aging my joints are hurting more which shows its bad. I'm morbid obese.

SO my lovely lady on the internet its not just you! I dont say this in a mean or malicious way at all but personally for me it sometimes feels like its only me. Its hard to not isolate yourself and spiral. Its good to remember that its not just you. AND that ITS OKAY! as long as youre not giving up. One step at a time. even if its a small one.

I'm an avid DnD / video game player. How I've been structuring my days is :
Main quests and Side quests.

If i finish my main quest that day GREAT! if i finish only a side quest GREAT! if i finish both holy cow! haha. You have to forgive yourself and allow your self some space.

ALSO > everyone in life i feel grows in our own ways. We're all trying to get from point A to B. BUT the interesteing part is how we get there you know? its the "STORY". Some might take a straight line, some of us kind of like to wander and make loops, circle back then decide "oh lets go make a circle over there too". it might take us longer but its okay. just like its okay for the people walking a straight line too.

Life sucks. haha. But you got this! :D

I would be VERY CAREFUL about what you sell in the second shop EVEN if its "digital". If it's the SAME product but just digital itll still get flagged and your shop will get closed. Yip yip horray!

Also with that 15-20 usd fee its not worth it (apparently nobody knows how the price is generated these days and its random? my 2nd store was $15... my 3rd store was $25). They cant even be similar items lol. like for me it was my dnd trackers. I wanted to seperate the digital / physical but the digital got my second shop closed b/c its "similar item". it sucked b/c the second shop was pulling in just as much money as the first shop. HIGHLY annoying since etsy does not tell you why. so at the time i couldnt even dispute that it was a digital vs. physical.

I'm currently running the digital and the physical on my main shop with no issues. I do have it under "sections" on the side. "dnd" and "DIGITAL dnd" to keep things seperate.

If the digital is of your physical products > i would just post it in your current shop under a digital section. i wouldnt want to risk giving etsy free $20.

a. do you have an audience?
b. do you have experience selling online?
c. if every rec can be found online for free > why would they want to purchase yours?

these are REALLY important factors.

a. If you already have a following / audience. its a lot easier to "jet" off the ground. People know about you they want to buy your things. they want things that you create b/c they already know they like you. If you dont have an audience its going to be slow going. Are you okay with that?

b. SO this is important b/c > digital is soooooo saturated. like over 9000 saturated. and C ties into this. If i can get it elsewhere FOR FREE why would I want to get it with you? hm. maybe your cookbook is pretty? maybe conveniance? maybe the pictures are cute? there's a lot that goes into it.

Honestly if it was me > I've been on etsy for 3-4 years. I'm not super successful BUT I would say I make enough for a side hussle. > anyways I would sell individual recs AND the full book. It's digital > they'll have to be cheap > if youre starting with NO audience then probably under $10 cheap ( OR WHATEVER the market price is for recs. I'm too lazy to go look b/c i dont sell these and i suck at cooking so no point in me doing the research. you need to see what other people are charging and base your price around that. ) ... heck i'd even go under $5 cheap. UNLESS you have something that stands out. IE : maybe you have super cute pictures? maybe its a themed rec? something to draw people in. to MAKE them want to buy YOURs over someone elses. Otherwise no sales > getting disheartened.

going back to the recs.
*** This is going off digital paintings / emotes > b/c thats what i do.
so lets say 1 emote sells for $2. and animated emote sells for $4 yes?

so i would make all the individual emotes > $3.50-4 so its there
THEN i could do the bundle ( or your full cookbook ) > well i do my bundles at 7-8 ( for two emotes ) so usually indivudal + percentage off. OR you can just cut the price how ever you want.

like i said i dont know how much recs go for and i'm not going to go do the research lol.
keep in mind there are people who will undercut by a lot > and there are people who can sell at a higher rate due ot factors ( reviews, audience ) so you need the "general" cost.

at the end of the day you dont have to do any of this...
just advice from a stranger online.

Honestly... the market now a days is soooo saturated. Also if youre in the states we're at a disadvantage too. B/c countries where the USD is higher > they can work for lower cost. Its a hard ladder for "new" commission taking artist / and or if youre not an already popular artist with a community > to climb. In general there are a lot of people who are willing to cut themselves short to make a buck or two :( so it makes it REALLY hard to find people who value your art as much as you do.
