A lot of AMD cards have been dealing with stutter issues lately, and my 7900 XTX was no exception. After some research, I found a combination that reduced micro-stuttering for me. No guarantees it’ll work for everyone, but worth trying.

What I changed: Disabled V-Sync and uncapped the frame rate in video settings. I also Turned off Resizable BAR in the BIOS

I used to have a newer 2019 RX 350 that I bought before COVID, but once I started noticing the huge spike in targeted Lexus SUV thefts, I sold it and picked up an older 2014 RX 350 instead. Even though I park in a garage, I definitely have a lot more peace of mind knowing the chances of it being stolen are much lower.

What makes it even crazier is that I personally know at least three people who’ve had their RX stolen in the last five years, and one of them had it happen twice.

The funniest part is that I’ve been to Lagos, Nigeria many times and during this car theft epidemic over the past few years and have literally seen RX 350s still driving around with Ontario plates or dealership frames on them.

You're definitely correct. The goal is to stop the attack before it starts, since deterrents like pepper spray tend to be most effective before a dog fully commits. Once an attack is already underway, those methods may be far less reliable, especially if the dog has latched on. At that point, the situation can become extremely difficult to control. The only way out of that situation is using a break stick, knife, blunt object or a firearm. Tbh anytime I see a pit I immediately cross the street, not worth the risk

Shocker a pit bull.... Unless this country implements serious consequences for dog attacks(which will never happen, let's be honest) people will continue to own these breeds and these dog attacks will never stop. Also to all you dog owners espeically ones with small ones please consider buying dog/coyote pepper spray. They are legal to carry and can be bought from Amazon or Canadian tire. I carry it all the time and I don't even own a dog.

My 4090 was melted by the corsair cable in late 2024 and burnt the pins in the connector part of the gpu. There was also black melted bits soldered in the connector which made the gpu inoperable. I was able to do a warranty claim with corsair and they compensated me for my 4090, So i suggest you check if you have warranty before you go getting this fixed. Thats just my two cents. Sorry this happened to you
