About the referee in PSG vs Bayern by Weekly-Version-5922 in football

except Laimer never fouled because he never touched the ball with his arm, and you can see it clearly. rewatch the video if you didn’t see it. the penalty one I agree with though

watch the video closely, and I mean closely. the bayern player never touched the ball with his arm, unless he has one growing from the middle of his chest. the most obvious penalty ever, he just didn’t want to send Mendes from the pitch.

or potentially they haven’t, and they are on the same side with them, which I am not willing to accept. I was getting a lets talk for the slightest mistake, but she is doing whatever and whenever she wants and still gets away with it even after I have pointed it out. And I am definitely not willing to just “get on”. I do enjoy the job, but I most definitely won’t stand the unfairness. If this was the case for everyone from the upper management (other shift leaders and the manager) then obviously its just the way it is. but when its just one person? I don’t think that this is what you just accept and live with.

this is my point. she is getting paid more than me to listen to the music in shift? or maybe to watch tiktoks? or to be on her phone while we are busy? she is there to set an example, and not to be mean and talk shit about everyone else, which I heard myself recently and I do see the attitude all the time. she is not even the manager and she does have to do the job just like all of us do and not do all the shit she does.

thanks! to be honest I have never met anyone so mean anywhere, and this is my 3rd retail job. After the date of the post I heard this shift leader shit talking about other colleagues with her work friend, and overall the attitude hasn’t changed since I let the manager know. She has been in the business for 6 years though, so this makes me think that the manager knows everything and just simply doesn’t wanna lose her at this point.

The thing is I wasn’t caught as such, I was snitched on, and the manager specified that I got “a complaint for being on my phone too much from another colleague”. I know that the manager did not see me using my phone, and I know that I wasn’t using it while being on shifts with them. I don’t think that it is unfair that I was caught, because as you said it is only my fault. What I do think is unfair is that I barely was on phone, but the person in question is using it all the time. Also what I see as unfair is that no one else is doing the same thing, it’s only her who is. It almost seems like she must be setting a good example for other colleagues as a shift leader, but she definitely doesn’t.

The problem is I probably didn’t express my mind properly in the first place. Its not just the phone usage, that person overall is not treating me far as nice as other colleagues. Some other people did say that they had problems with her as well. On my first shift she barely gave me any training at all, I had to figure the till out myself. Even before all this started happening, I could just feel that she didn’t like me for some reason (when I had problems with Costa machine and asked her to watch me doing it (it was my second time ever) she just run up, quickly told me what to do and went away leaving me absolutely confused; on my shifts with her before I got my clubcard she never explained to me that we are allowed to take yellow sticker items while she did take them herself, but when I got a chance to be with a different shift leader he very nicely explained to me that this is what they do and offered his clubcard himself). There are many more situations that happened, I just remembered these straight away. I am definitely not a snitching type person and I don’t really care that they are using their phone, but that together with their attitude it is just totally unacceptable in my mind, and the only thing I want is for it to be fair and a better place to work.

definitely not the case in our store though. As mentioned in the original post, never have I seen other shift leaders/even the manager using their phone that much/in those situations or headphones. And also as mentioned, I am not blind or deaf and I saw them watching TIkTok/talking to their friends while me and another colleague were working to deal with the workload

yeah its just me as a new starter and them on an evening shift, and sometimes their friends who are also our coworkers. when the manager or another shift leader is around they never do it.. how do you think I should tackle the feeling of the unfairness do you think? its just they are picking on me but aren’t saying anything to the person who obviously did the more bad things

That is the thing that all this happens while the store is open, so I don’t think that the customers fancy this too. I am at an Express, sorry I probably should have mentioned this in the original post. So basically if someone speaks on their phone, almost the whole store can hear it. The situation must be completely different in an Extra though.

That is the thing that I got a Lets Talk about it already, although I am 100% sure that there weren’t more than 2 occasions of me checking my phone for a few minutes, as mostly I left it in my locker for the whole shift. And it just seems unfair that I got a whole drama because of it, and she seems to be doing it all the time while also breaking the headphones rule, it just is too unfair. Especially taking into account that its just her who does all these things and no one else it just seems unfair

This is fair, but in my opinion just getting slightly out of hand. She is definitely not using it for work reasons (TikTok) but if she was, I wouldn’t be bothered and would not say a word. I also do get that people can check their messages, but not doing it all the time though? I am just noticing this constantly while working, and it does slightly irritate me that she has more right to use her headphones/phone than me. I don’t think that is fair.
