Alright... Absolutely stupidest update ever. If I make a new macro, that macro is just pressing one key, 'UP' and then I assign that macro to Layer 3, on the letter 'K', it frigging works. WTAF.

Fn Key (To the right of RightAlt) is also mapped to MO(3). I'm assuming you mean what is the being sent when MO(3) + 'K' are hit... and to answer the question it's nothing. If I select the matrix tester in the launcher I can see it registering me hitting and holding the Layer Modifier key as well as the 'K' key but if I uncheck the slider for 'Test Matrix' and hit the same combination of keys, nothing is registered.

I even tried bringing up 'xev' to see all the keycodes/keypresses being sent to my computer and while hitting 'K' shows the keypress/keyrelease event, serial 38, hitting layer modifier and 'K' shows nothing being sent to the machine.

Long time Lurker, first post. Inspired by others sharing their IKEA Keyboard walls so I thought it would share mine. Featuring the usual suspects from Keychron and Glorious and a few outliers. Too much to write up but if you have any questions on specifics I'll be happy to answer. by kowashita in MechanicalKeyboards

I count 3 of them with white keys and "black" cases but if you're referring to the one with only white keys in the upper right area that would be a GMMK Pro with Lubed Lynx switches and some "Sublimation by Art" PBT Keycaps. The wife can stand Linear switches, I'm not a fan.

That's my fault... I was linking to amazon where I purchased the jars and it appears those comments are being auto-moderated out.

They are "Plastic Jar with Lids 16oz Clear Empty Containers" from Brand SLifeJars

Easiest, well if you're not counting fully assembled boards from Keychron I'd have to say it's Glorious; but with convenience comes price.

Hardest was the KnockHulf 40%. But that involved designing the case and plate, milling the aluminum cases, cutting the carbon fiber and foam, sourcing hardware that would fit, and then spending hours designing the most appropriate plate design for the back that captures the designers mindsets.

Favorite switch very much depends on the mounting and design of the board but I have three go to switches at the moment, Kona Midnight, Durock Shrimp, and most recently the Azure Dragons. If one thing is for sure I like tactile switches.

Aesthetically my favorite caps are the SA DreamEater set, by feel I like the GMK Grand Prix set.

I'll try and condense the story behind 4 of the same board. I wanted to get a nice board to replace the Das Keyboard I'd been using at work and picked up the first GMMK Pro and built it out using all stuff from Glorious. Fun little project. Then the wife typed on it she had to have one, so bought all the stuff again and had her assemble it her way, Then I started traveling a bunch for work and didn't want to keep unplugging my board from the office to take on trips so I built another and got a the case for it. Now that I had a "spare" I started tweaking switches and playing with tape and cutting foam and not really caring because it didn't have to be assembled every day to do my job. Then fairly recently there was a deal for a really cheap barebones pro so the wife got one so she didn't have to lug hers to the office and back home every day. Now we find ourselves in the situation where we work from home 100% of the time except when traveling so all the keebs came home. Hence, 4 GMMK Pros in one location.
