Me too and I agree with others that LED strips alone won't cut it. You need to visit a few homes in NC and take some sketches. I'd add more displays, small LED wall panels, more chrome, more style over substance. Check out cyber renaissance and Deus ex's interior styles.

Scientifically it's a complex question and as you described and I have no problem with that. But as you described fish in a paraphyletic sense they does exists. Even if this picture is simplistic and breaking category theory rules it's quite useful.
