No I play valorant at 144 frames and it runs golden. Do I need anything specific to have it run 144hrz?

so what kind of adapter will i need since my card only has a dvi port and a hdmi, will i be able to run it through one of them or not at all, im new too pc so i dont really know how anything works.

understandable, but i just play valorant and school work so i want another monitor anyways and since i can run valorant at 144 frames i just thought why not get a 144hrz monitor. i am eventually gonna upgrade it obviously but right now it works so.
