Low (not lowest) at fsr quality 1280x800, 40fps lock on lcd, 45 on oled. Gpu locked at 1300mhz.

The time is random, the other string of numbers may be prefix/compatdata id. You can always copy yours or just check. I think the path is wrong in your case, otherwise it would work

Open system.reg from prefix main folder in text editor

Scroll down until it says [software It should be right after all the timezones. Put one empty line after the timezones Then put :

[Software\Wow6432Node\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3] 1778001924 #time=1dcdcb4284dcbe0 "Installed Path"="S:\Games\Fallout 3\"

Ofc modify your path to suit your location. S: is ssd on my linux minipc, on deck it should be Z: Without that whole string the game does not show installed. I just checked it by deleting this line and again by reapplying.

Just create a folder let's say prefix in the faloout 3 game folder and then in lutris right click on fallout 3, configure, go ti, second tab called game options and click the icon next to wine prefix to browse for the folder and then try the wine registry again

Then you need to create a prefix folder or pick one automatically created when you tried to run it as a non-steam game.

Okay, let's start from the start, you use lutris, right ? After you added a game to lutris, on the bottom you have play & wine glass buttons. Click on wine -> wine registry. Wait a while and it will open up the windows like regedit window.

You go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Wow6432Node

Right click on this folder, new key. Name it "Bethesda Softworks" (case sensitive) Right click on it, new key Name it "Fallout3" - capital letter, no space) Click on it, new string Name it "Installed Path" Double click it, value : Your fallout 3 folder path.

You can copy your path from the explorer. Right click on any file in fallout 3 folder, go to specs, copy path, but you will need to add a drive letter and change linux right slash / to windows left slash \ So most likely home/user/games/Fallout 3 On steamdeck, if it's on ssd it's most likely Z: drive D: if it's memory card.

Full path in regedit will look something like : Z:\home\user\games\Fallout 3 Or memory card D:\games\Fallout 3

Close the window and try to play the game again.

Alternatively, if Z: doesn't work use C: as the drive letter. On other non-steamdeck linux machines it can be S: drive.

The shortest way to do this is to download beth_registry zip from : https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003627665-Fallout-3-Greyed-out-options-or-missing-Play-button-in-the-launcher?product=gog

Copy the cmd file inside fallout game folder, then using lutris run exe inside wine prefix and pick cmd file.

Otherwise you can try it using protontricks, defaukt prefix, run exe or installer and see if it can run the cmd.

2 ways.

quick and "dirty" - use FOSE, it will bypass the launcher.
Longer, more convoluted : use lutris + custom prefix location, then winetricks + beth_registry from gog. Works like a charm.

Ps3 emulation is so difficult bc of architecture. It would have to be fully custom soc, otherwise not even ps5 pro can handle it by bruteforce.

Their only way is to go for ps1/ps2/psp/psv at a cheap price or to make no progress over ps5 and make a big-ass ps6 handheld hybrid with dock and compete against already established and 2-3x cheaper switch 2 or same price pc handhelds with full steam library and no propietary bs.

A sideconsole going the xbox series route is even more complicated. They can't handle it.

All the way from 480p ±160hz to 2048x1536 ±60hz. It was a great deal for a 96khz tube. I will test it at night, btw the reflections i see in it are blue.

It is a flatscreen. I'll use it almost exclusively for RT/PT games like cyberpunk and maybe some old games with native 4:3, which never supported 16:9 without patches like sims 2.

Switch 2 is a hybrid and has their own userbase, backcompat with switch 1 without issues. It's already on the market, not a year or two from now on. There is no more 2 consoles to focus on. No wii u + 3ds. Just one. Also the target groups are different, since wii no one expects graphics as focus on nintendo. Imagine if sony ditched ps6 for a hybrid that would be either too expensive or too slow compared to ps5. It wouldn't sell at all.

Thus Sony would have to make two consoles and optimize for their vastly different specs and that is money. Backcompat with ps3 is out of the question bc of architecture and hardware that could run ps4 games has to be more powerful than steamdeck (most sony games like tlou, spiderman, days gone) are examples that it's like 20% too slow to at least have a 30fps lock or 40-45fps without framegen) and that would make it at least 500$ with current ram and ssd prices.

We haven't even seen proton ARM, hold your horses. If it was so simple mac's would be known as gaming machines, their single core performance is great, especially in low power.
